Ce poste consiste à analyser, traiter et rapprocher les transactions financières. Principales responsabilités

  • Diriger les processus de clôture de fin de mois et de fin d'année, y compris les écritures comptables, les charges à payer et les rapprochements
  • Tenir et rapprocher les comptes du grand livre général, en veillant à leur exactitude et à leur exhaustivité
  • Analyser les résultats financiers, identifier les écarts et fournir des explications
  • Soutenir les activités de budgétisation, de prévision et de gestion des flux de trésorerie
  • Collaborer avec le cabinet comptable et aider à la préparation des documents de fin d'exercice
  • Recommander et mettre en œuvre des améliorations des processus afin d'accroître l'efficacité et les contrôles internes
  • Encadrer et soutenir le personnel comptable junior selon les besoins
  • Accomplir d'autres tâches selon les besoins

Qualifications

  • Baccalauréat en comptabilité
  • Au moins 2 à 3 ans d'expérience en comptabilité à cycle complet
  • Ce poste nécessite une maîtrise de l'anglais pour communiquer avec les parties prenantes hors du Québec
  • Solides connaissances de l'ASPE et les normes et meilleures pratiques comptables
  • Maîtrise des logiciels de comptabilité et compétences avancées en Excel
  • Grand souci du détail, sens de l'organisation et capacité à respecter les délais
  • Solides compétences en communication et en relations interpersonnelles, avec une capacité à collaborer entre les départements

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join our Accounting Department. This role is responsible for analyzing, processing and reconciling financial transactions. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills to investigate discrepancies, ensure financial accuracy, and support forecasting and budgeting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Analyze financial results, identify variances, and provide explanations
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management activities
  • Collaborate with the accounting firm and assist in preparing year-end documentation
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and internal controls
  • Mentor and support junior accounting staff as needed
  • Perform other duties as required

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • Minimum 2-3 years of full-cycle accounting experience
  • This position requires English proficiency to communicate with stakeholders outside Quebec
  • Strong knowledge of ASPE and accounting best practices
  • Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments
