As a marketing advisor, you help develop and update the organization’s products and services to meet member/client needs and support business development. You analyze market needs and develop and implement product and service marketing strategies. You advise and assist clients and partners and develop tools, methods and processes. Your projects and initiatives require extensive knowledge of your line of work. You propose recommendations, solutions and action plans based on the organization’s objectives and priorities. You share ideas and help solve problems using your analytical skills and extensive knowledge of the line of business. You interact with stakeholders working in other fields. Interpersonal savvy is therefore essential. More specifically, you will be required to:
Carry out the Caisse's annual communications plan, in accordance with the allocated budget. Recommend to managers communication strategies and activities aimed at the various clienteles, local organizations, officers and employees in order to meet their visibility and attraction needs. Support managers in carrying out these activities.
Advise managers in the development, evolution and implementation of communication solutions, programs and tools.
Contribute to the development, follow-up and implementation of the communications action plan (internal and external), in line with the targeted results and strategic orientations of Desjardins Group.
Ensure that a positive image of the Caisse and Desjardins Group is maintained by identifying potential risk situations and informing the Caisse's general management and the various partners concerned. Follow up on activities related to the quality of service to members and clients (e.g., surveys, complaint processing).
Receive, analyze and recommend requests for sponsorships, donations and subscriptions and follow up on the amounts granted. In support of the manager, negotiate agreements related to sponsorships, donations and subscriptions. Contribute to the influence of our involvement in the community
Contribute to the organization of various Caisse events, including logistics and the writing of speeches (e.g.: annual general meeting, special meeting, awards ceremony, conferences).
Analyze, select and ensure the quality of communication vehicles intended for members and clients (e.g. letters, mass mailings). Produce and distribute various information (e.g.: local and internal newspapers).
Support the Caisse representatives in maintaining business relations with various clients and organizations in the community. Contribute to the organization of events intended for them (e.g.: information sessions, conferences)
Animate social media communities by writing informational content to be published (e.g.: advertisements, videos) and ensuring the relevance and general consistency of comments and interactions.
Identifies visibility opportunities for the Caisse and takes the necessary initiatives to ensure the Caisse's visibility in the health care community.
Develops, improves and updates the list of contacts/media related to the Caisse's mission.
Participates in the implementation of promotional campaigns aimed at various audiences.

What you bring to the table
Bachelor's degree in a related field
A minimum of two years of relevant experience
Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
Knowledge of French is required
Intermediate knowledge of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients
Knowledge of all products and services intended for Caisse members and those offered by the Desjardins Business Centres, the components and the distribution networks of Desjardins and its competitors.
Knowledge of communication and advertising methods, techniques and tools.
Knowledge of the philosophy and operations of a financial services cooperative.
Knowledge of the policies, legislation, standards and ethics related to the operation of the Caisse and its centers.
Knowledge of service standards.
Knowledge of the democratic structure of the caisses and the Desjardins network.
Knowledge of graphic and video editing, an asset.
Knowledge of various channels and techniques used in digital marketing such as SEO, social media advertising tools (Google Ads, etc.), and website management (HTML)
