Job Description

The sales team is growing, and we are looking for a Commercial Sales Representative to cover the following territory: Montreal, North Shore, with occasional travel to the Maritimes.

Your Impact:

As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and growing a strategic territory covering Montreal, the North Shore, and occasional travel throughout the Maritimes. More than a traditional sales role, you will act as a trusted advisor to landscape architects, architects, engineers, municipalities, developers, and commercial contractors, helping influence product specifications at the earliest stages of project development. Your mission will be to drive market growth, strengthen industry relationships, and position Techo-Bloc as the preferred choice for commercial, institutional, and municipal projects.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Develop and grow a designated territory by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities;
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, landscape architects, engineers, municipalities, developers, and contractors;
  • Promote and specify Techo-Bloc products within commercial, institutional, and municipal projects;
  • Qualify opportunities generated through marketing initiatives, industry events, referrals, and networking activities;
  • Deliver product presentations, educational seminars, and Lunch & Learn sessions to increase brand awareness and product adoption;
  • Manage and maintain a robust sales pipeline using CRM tools;
  • Prepare project quotations and oversee opportunities throughout the full sales cycle;
  • Collaborate closely with internal sales and operations teams to secure and close projects;
  • Meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales objectives;
  • Stay informed on market trends, competitive activity, and upcoming project opportunities within the territory.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of B2B sales or business development experience;
  • Experience working with architects, engineers, municipalities, developers, contractors, or related industry professionals is considered a strong asset;
  • Proven ability to build relationships, influence decision-makers, and drive business growth;
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills;
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and results-oriented;
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously;
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM platforms;
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel regularly throughout the assigned territory;
  • Bilingualism (English and French) is required.
