Position Overview

The Commercial Intelligence Lead is responsible for developing and executing data-driven pricing strategies that drive profitability, efficiency, and growth. This role blends advanced analytics, market insights, and business enablement to deliver strategic frameworks, predictive models, and actionable recommendations. Partnering cross-functionally with Finance, Strategy, Sales, and BI, this leader ensures pricing governance, lifecycle management, and scalable systems are in place to support enterprise objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain data-driven frameworks to model market dynamics, customer segments, and competitive positioning.

  • Develop predictive models for elasticity, revenue forecasting, and margin optimization.

  • Conduct scenario modeling and quantitative testing to validate business hypotheses.

  • Translate complex market and customer insights into clear, actionable strategies.

  • Deliver data-backed insights and benchmarks to support sales, pricing, and go-to-market teams.

  • Embed BI-driven logic into proposals and commercial packages, supported by clear narratives and evidence.

  • Provide leadership with insights that directly connect data to profitability and growth.

  • Partner cross-functionally to align insights with broader enterprise objectives.

  • Oversee the end-to-end pricing and revenue intelligence lifecycle, from scoping and modeling to contract execution and performance measurement.

  • Monitor real-time commercial performance and identify opportunities for efficiency and growth.

  • Implement governance protocols ensuring data accuracy, version control, and auditability.

  • Continuously refine frameworks to align with shifting market conditions and business priorities.

  • Partner with Data Engineering to build pipelines that ingest, transform, and visualize commercial data.

  • Design interactive dashboards and self-serve BI tools in platforms like Sigma or LookerPro.

  • Implement predictive analytics and machine learning to improve forecasting accuracy.

  • Integrate external data sources (market, competitive, economic) into core BI models.

Qualifications & Skills
  • Proven experience building and executing pricing strategies, ideally within a media, digital, or social agency environment.

  • Strong background in analyzing pricing and cost models tied to revenue performance.

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Strategy, and BI teams.

  • Familiarity with agency operations and revenue forecasting.

  • Comfortable operating in fast-paced, high-growth environments with shifting priorities.

  • Bonus: Experience supporting complex, enterprise-level proposals and deal structures.

  • Strong SQL and GCP expertise for managing and querying large datasets.

  • Proficiency with dashboarding tools such as Sigma or LookerPro (Sigma strongly preferred).

  • Ability to build and iterate internal tools that improve pricing efficiency and accuracy.

  • Strong analytical background with a data-to-insights-to-action mindset.

  • Bonus: Familiarity with APIs and data pipelines for pricing automation.

  • Exceptional ability to simplify complex pricing strategies for leadership, finance, and sales audiences.

  • Skilled at balancing competing priorities while aligning cross-functional teams.

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

  • High attention to detail with strong project management and organizational skills.

  • Proactive, collaborative, and committed to continuous improvement and ownership of outcomes.
