Job Description:

As a Senior AWS Project Manager, you will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex cloud transformation and integration initiatives. You will work closely with clients, AWS architects, engineering teams, and business stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of large-scale AWS projects while maintaining alignment with organizational objectives, timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of AWS cloud migration, modernization, and integration projects.
  • Develop project plans, schedules, resource strategies, and governance frameworks.
  • Manage project scope, budgets, timelines, risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including cloud architects, engineers, security specialists, and business stakeholders.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between clients, internal teams, and external partners.
  • Facilitate executive steering committees, status reviews, and stakeholder communications.
  • Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and operational requirements.
  • Track project performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support organizational change management activities related to cloud transformations.
  • Ensure successful transition from project delivery to operational support teams.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience managing large-scale IT projects or programs.
  • 5+ years of experience delivering AWS cloud migration, integration, or modernization initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of AWS services, cloud architecture principles, and enterprise integration patterns.
  • Experience working in consulting, technology services, or enterprise environments.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Required Certifications

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification strongly preferred, ideally required.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate or Professional
