MAIN Responsibilities:
Gather and Define Business Requirements: Conduct stakeholder interviews and workshops to capture functional and non-functional requirements.
Perform Data Analysis and Data Mapping: Analyze raw data sets, identify patterns, and create detailed data mappings between source and target systems.
Collaborate on AWS Data Lake and Data Warehouse Design: Work with data architects and engineers to support the design, implementation, and optimization of cloud-based data storage solutions.
Support Cloud Solution Planning: Evaluate cloud technologies (primarily AWS) and assist in aligning them with business goals and technical feasibility.
Conduct Application Functional Analysis: Assess application features and workflows to ensure alignment with business
Coordinate Daily Development Activities: Facilitate stand-ups, sprint planning, and task tracking with development teams to ensure timely delivery.
Liaise Between Production Support and Development Teams: Act as a communication bridge to resolve production issues and ensure smooth handoffs between support and development.
Maintain Up-to-Date Documentation: Create and manage documentation in Confluence and shared drives, including requirements, process flows, and status reports.
Create User Stories and Acceptance Criteria : Translate business requirements into actionable user stories for development and QA teams.
Support Testing and Validation: Assist in test case creation, UAT coordination, and validation of features against requirements.
Monitor and Report Project Progress: Track milestones, identify risks, and provide regular updates to stakeholders and leadership.
Ensure Data Governance and Compliance: Collaborate with data stewards to ensure data quality, security, and compliance with internal and external standards.
Drive Continuous Improvement: Identify process inefficiencies and recommend enhancements to tools, workflows, or communication practices.
CORE SKILLS:
Data Analysis & Data Mapping (7-10 Years experience)
Analyze structured and unstructured data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities.

AWS Data Lake & Data Warehousing (3-5 Years experience)
Understand AWS services like Amazon S3, Redshift, Glue, and Lake Formation.
Support the design and optimization of data lakes and warehouses for analytics.
Ensure data governance, access control, and performance tuning in cloud environments.
Cloud Solutions Knowledge (3-5 Years experience)
Familiarity with cloud architecture principles and services (especially AWS).
Evaluate cloud-based tools for scalability, cost-efficiency, and compliance.
Work with solution architects to align business needs with cloud capabilities.
Business Requirements Definition & Analysis (7-10 Years experience)
Conduct stakeholder interviews and workshops to gather requirements.
Document functional and non-functional requirements.
Translate business needs into user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
Coordination & Communication (7-10 Years experience
Daily Development Syncs: Facilitate stand-ups and sprint planning with development teams.
Production Support Liaison: Act as the point of contact between support and development teams to resolve production issues swiftly.
Cross-Team Collaboration: Ensure alignment across QA, DevOps, and business units.
Documentation & Knowledge Management (7-10 Years experience)
Maintain up-to-date documentation in Confluence and shared drives.
Track project status, decisions, and changes for transparency and auditability.
Create visual aids like process flows, wireframes, and data models.
Application Functional Analysis (7-10 Years experience )
Analyze application behavior and user interactions to identify improvement areas.
Validate application features against business requirements.
Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and post-deployment reviews.

Identifies and analyzes malfunctions, system workflow, and troubleshoots issues raised by business.
- Elicits requirements and analyzes feasibility to ensure solutions/initiatives achieve the expected business outcomes.
- Supports various project teams across the project lifecycle to ensure development is aligned with the business requirements.
- Develops informative, coherent, and usable project documents (project artifacts) for multiple stakeholders covering functional and non-functional business requirements.

- Breaks down strategic problems, and analyses data and information to provide insights and recommendations.
- Builds tests cases in order to validate business requirements and End-User Testing results.

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.
