About the team & the Role
As a Cloud Automation & Integration Engineer, you will leverage your expertise in modern automation technologies to accelerate Rubrik's product adoption with key customers. You'll combine advanced technical capabilities in scripting, API integration, and infrastructure-as-code with exceptional customer-facing skills to discover, plan, and execute project requirements that drive measurable customer success.
What you'll do
- Design and implement automation and reporting solutions using PowerShell, Python, Terraform, and cloud-native tools to streamline Rubrik deployments and operations
- Develop custom integrations between Rubrik platforms and customer environments using REST APIs, GraphQL, and webhooks
- Participate in pre-sales engagements to translate customer business objectives into technical implementation plans
- Create reusable automation frameworks and templates to accelerate customer time-to-value
- Architect and document solutions that integrate Rubrik technology with customer infrastructure
- Deliver technical workshops and knowledge transfer sessions both on-site and remotely
- Orchestrate implementation activities across client and internal teams to ensure on-time, in-scope delivery
- Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering to drive product improvements based on customer feedback
- Document and share implementation best practices, common integration patterns, and automation techniques
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines that incorporate Rubrik data protection capabilities
Experience you'll need
- 10+ years of overall IT experience with 5+ years in enterprise consulting or professional services
- Demonstrated expertise in infrastructure automation using PowerShell and Python
- Experience developing and consuming REST APIs and GraphQL APIs
- Proficiency with Terraform for infrastructure-as-code implementations
- Experience designing and implementing webhook-based integrations and event-driven architectures
- Knowledge of private/hybrid cloud environments, AWS, and Azure
- Ability to translate complex technical requirements into executable project plans
- Exceptional presentation, documentation, and communication skills
