A Day in the Life

  • Réalise des formations et/ou du conseil sur site.
  • Soutient le personnel de terrain afin d’offrir les meilleurs résultats et services possibles aux clients Medtronic.
  • Collabore avec les collègues commerciaux pour élaborer et exécuter des plans de vente au sein d’une ou plusieurs unités commerciales.
  • Participe à des congrès, forums et réunions pour accroître la notoriété des produits.
  • Travaille en étroite collaboration avec le Responsable Clinique, la Direction Clinique et l’équipe de vente régionale pour fournir un soutien lors des cas clients et des ventes.
  • Identifie et facilite la mise en œuvre des opportunités de croissance avec l’équipe de vente et de support clinique.
  • Travailler en étroite collaboration avec le/la Responsable Régional(e) des Ventes sur les priorités commerciales.
    Assurer la formation et l’éducation des spécialistes cliniques et du personnel clinique dans les cliniques et lors des implants.
    Identifier les priorités des clients et des programmes ainsi que construire un programme pour favoriser une plus grande autonomie du personnel clinique dans les comptes clés.

FONCTION DE GESTION DES PERSONNES – FILIÈRE DE CARRIÈRE FONCTIONNELLE : Professionnels de la gestion et de la supervision ayant un ou plusieurs employés, axés sur des activités tactiques, opérationnelles et parfois stratégiques dans un domaine spécifique. Les niveaux au sein de cette filière de gestion comptent généralement six rapports directs ou plus. La majorité du temps est consacrée à la supervision de leur domaine de responsabilité, à la gestion de la performance, au développement des talents, à l’engagement et à l’inclusion, à la communication des évolutions commerciales et opérationnelles, à la planification, à la priorisation et/ou à la direction des responsabilités des rapports directs. L’atteinte des objectifs se réalise généralement par la performance des rapports directs et/ou indirects. Une responsabilité clé de ces postes est la gestion des personnes, incluant : la responsabilité de l’encadrement, du développement et du coaching du personnel pour atteindre/dépasser les attentes de performance et les objectifs définis, le leadership auprès du personnel en veillant à la priorisation des initiatives stratégiques et départementales, la définition des objectifs et cibles de performance, la réalisation des entretiens d’évaluation et des réunions individuelles pour orienter la gestion de la performance et le développement des employés, et la gestion des objectifs du département.

  • Autonomie : Gère des superviseurs subordonnés et/ou des professionnels expérimentés qui bénéficient d’une certaine latitude et indépendance dans leurs missions. Fournit un leadership tactique et/ou opérationnel ainsi que du coaching. Reçoit des missions formulées en termes d’objectifs et de tâches.
  • Impact organisationnel : Établit des plans opérationnels et met en œuvre des politiques et stratégies. Les décisions influent sur les calendriers des programmes, la satisfaction des clients ou l’allocation du temps, des ressources matérielles, des dépenses et des fonds. Peut être responsable du budget ou du compte de résultats d’un département, d’une fonction ou d’une zone géographique. S’efforce d’améliorer en continu et d’assurer la cohérence des livrables.
  • Innovation et complexité : Propose des modifications aux politiques opérationnelles fonctionnelles et aux processus quotidiens. Les problèmes rencontrés sont complexes, difficiles et non définis, et nécessitent une collecte d’informations détaillée, une analyse et une investigation pour comprendre le problème.
  • Communication et influence : Communique avec les clients internes et externes ainsi que les fournisseurs au sujet des opérations en cours. Utilise l’échange d’informations, l’influence et la persuasion active sans exercice direct de l’autorité pour obtenir la coopération des autres parties. Peut intervenir sur des sujets ayant des objectifs partagés en externe.
  • Leadership et gestion des talents : Gère une équipe composée de superviseurs et/ou de professionnels expérimentés dans la filière de carrière des spécialistes. Dirige, oriente et examine le travail d’une équipe qui bénéficie d’une certaine latitude et indépendance dans ses missions. Autorise les embauches, licenciements, promotions et récompenses dans son domaine.
  • Connaissances et expérience requises : Nécessite des connaissances pratiques pour diriger et gérer l’exécution des processus, projets et tactiques dans un domaine professionnel. Possède généralement des connaissances et compétences avancées dans une discipline technique ou professionnelle spécifique, avec une compréhension de l’impact de son travail sur les autres secteurs de l’organisation. Nécessite un diplôme de baccalauréat (ou pour les diplômes obtenus hors des États-Unis, un diplôme conforme aux exigences de 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A)) et au moins 5 ans d’expérience pertinente, ou un diplôme supérieur avec au moins 3 ans d’expérience pertinente préalable.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

  • Conducts on-site education and / or consulting.
  • Supports field personnel in providing the best possible outcomes and service for Medtronic customers.
  • Partners with sales colleagues to develop and execute plans of sales for within one or more business unit(s).
  • Participates in conventions, forums, and meetings to increase product awareness.
  • Works closely with Clinical Lead, Clinical Management and Regional Sales team to provide customer case and sales support.
  • Identifies and facilitates execution on growth opportunities with Sales and Clinical Support Team.
  • Work closely with Regional Sales Manager on business priorities.
  • Training and Education for clinical specialists and clinical staff in clinics and implants.
  • Identify customer and program priorities as well as building a curriculum for more clinical staff autonomy in key accounts.

PEOPLE MANAGEMENT FUNCTIONAL CAREER STREAM: Management and supervisory professionals with one or more employees who are focused on tactical, operational and some strategic activities within a specified area. Levels within the management career stream typically have six or more direct reports. The majority of time is spent overseeing their area of responsibility, managing performance, developing talent, engagement and inclusion, communicating business and operational developments, planning, prioritizing and / or directing the responsibilities of direct reports. Goal achievement is typically accomplished through performance of direct and / or indirect reports. A key responsibility of roles in this career stream is managing people. which includes: accountability for mentoring, developing and coaching staff on meeting/exceeding performance expectations and defined objectives, providing leadership to staff ensuring the prioritization of strategic and department level initiatives to include defining performance goals and targets, conducting performance reviews, and staff 1:1s to guide performance management and employee development efforts and manage toward departmental goals.

Leadership and Talent Management: Manages a team consisting of supervisors and / or experienced professionals in the Specialist career stream.
Leads, directs and reviews the work of a team who exercise latitude and independence in their assignments.
Authorizes hiring, firing, promotion and reward within own area.

Required Knowledge and Experience: Requires practical knowledge in leading and managing the execution of processes, projects and tactics within one job area.
Typically has advanced knowledge and skills within a specific technical or professional discipline with understanding of the impact of work on other areas of the organization.
Requires a Baccalaureate degree (or for degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree which satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)( 4)(iii)(A) and minimum of 5 years relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years prior relevant experience.
