Position Description

We are seeking a high-performing, dynamic and energetic candidate on our Client Marketing (CM) Americas team. The Americas Client Marketing team drives the marketing strategy for some of our most important businesses, including U.S. Institutional, Consultant Relations, Variable Annuity, Financial Institutions, and Retail and Institutional marketing across the U.S., Latin America, and Canada.

As a Client Marketing Analyst, you will play in a unique and creative role in deepening and executing marketing alignment with PIMCO’s growing businesses in Canada. You will support our teams in reaching more clients and driving engagement and business results through personalized, client-centric experiences. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Location

This role will be based in Toronto or Montreal and will be part of PIMCO's Global Marketing organization, reporting to SVP of Client Marketing, Canada.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Work directly with the SVP of Client Marketing in Canada to create and execute marketing strategies for this growing business. 

  • Serve as a Client Marketing contact for the sales team in Canada, focusing on building marketing relationships and programs that accelerate business growth with key clients.

  • Become a Client Marketing expert for our Canadian business and opportunities and activate alignment and execution across the Marketing organization.

  • Provide day-to-day execution and project management, including managing marketing campaign logistics and event deliverables, data gathering, and facilitating approvals for marketing materials.

  • Collect, analyze, and summarize metrics for all marketing-related activities, prepare reports for stakeholders, and make recommendations based on findings to optimize the client experience.

  • Collaborate with global colleagues across multiple functions, including client management, product management, compliance, technology, and all marketing departments (brand, design, digital, channel, editorial, messaging, and content).

  • Gather, maintain, and disseminate marketing resources to internal and client stakeholders.

  • Develop impactful bespoke marketing, delivering immersive client experiences and tailored value-add content that resonates with our clients. 

  • Drive innovation by researching trends and competitor activities, and championing industry best practices.

Position Requirements

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree required.

  • 1-3 years of experience in marketing campaign management and project management, preferably within the financial services industry. 

  • Hands-on experience developing and executing marketing campaigns and strategic marketing initiatives, including ideation, design, build, QA, metrics analysis and optimization.

  • Fluent in French (written and spoken) required.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. 

  • Exposure to CRM systems and how client-facing teams handle lead generation and client engagement is desirable.

  • Proven competence in thinking strategically, analytically, conceptually, and innovatively, including the ability to synthesize and analyze data independently and within a team.
