- Advising key stakeholders through selection, transformation, implementation, and configuration of Workday. Our consultants are hands-on involved in full-scale implementation, project management, change management, requirements and design, process improvement, testing, integration enablement support, overseeing supplier enablement, and best practices
- Contributing beyond client delivery, including, but not limited to recruiting, coaching, marketing, business development, practice development, operational improvement, and beyond
- Implementing performance improvement and cost-reduction initiatives
We're seeking a Client Account Leader to join our team, managing key client relationships and Workday deployment projects. This role bridges clients and internal teams, ensuring project success and driving company growth. You'll oversee the full project lifecycle, manage financials, resolve issues, and contribute to business development. This position offers an opportunity to make a significant impact in the rapidly evolving Workday ecosystem!
As a Client Account Leader, you'll have the opportunity to:
Act as the senior point of contact for assigned client accounts, building and nurturing executive-level relationships
Manage the full project lifecycle of Workday deployments, from initial scoping to final implementation
Lead quarterly business reviews and strategic planning sessions with clients
Collaborate with Sales and Pre-sales teams on opportunity identification and proposal development
Work with the Resource Management team to staff projects appropriately · Partner with Solution Architects to design tailored Workday solutions that meet client needs
Monitor project health, risks, and issues, implementing mitigation strategies as necessary
Drive adoption of Workday best practices and innovation within client organizations
Manage project financials, including tracking against sold margin and actual margin targets
Serve as the escalation point for client issues, coordinating with internal teams for resolution
Lead and mentor cross-functional consultants, focusing on both technical and soft skill development
Contribute to our internal knowledge base and best practices repository
Represent our company at client steering committee meetings and occasional industry events
We're looking for someone with:
15+ years of experience in Workday consulting or similar enterprise software implementation
5+ years of client relationship management experience
Strong understanding of Workday consulting methodology, offerings, services and delivery approaches
Proven track record of managing complex projects and client relationships
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Demonstrated ability to manage project financials and contribute to revenue growth
Adept at account planning and direct client selling to extend our footprint at assigned clients
Knowledge and expertise in contract management and administration including MSAs, SOWs, and Change Orders
Strong leadership and team development capabilities
Excellence in stakeholder management
Proficiency in using project management, resource allocation and CRM tools
Workday certifications in multiple modules preferred
Experience managing teams of 10+ consultants ideal
Experience with change management and organizational transformation preferred
Travel required (20-30% depending on client locations)
Remote work flexibility with occasional in-person client meetings
Fast-paced environment requiring the ability to manage multiple priorities
May require flexible availability for critical client needs
Pay Transparency: The salary range for this position is $180,000 - $260,000 per year. The salary range reflects the target pay range for this role. However, individual compensation will be determined based on several factors when extending an offer of employment, which include, but are not limited to work experience, qualifications, skills and location. Compensation ranges may be modified in the future, at the sole discretion of CrossVue.
This role is also eligible for a performance-based incentive opportunity.
