The Cisco Security Solutions Architect is responsible for handling customer escalations, assist with planning go-to- market strategies, acting as a liaison between CDW and Cisco, and mentoring the individuals on the Networking and Security teams. The incumbent ensures outstanding customer service to internal and external customers as well as developing and maintaining positive business relationships with other departments. * Develop key go-to-market materials and strategies around Cisco security solutions. These would include Statement of Work templates, Services Calculators, Technical Training curriculum, Battle Cards, Sell Sheets, and Needs Gathering Documents
* Align with Cisco Security BDM's to drive market demand around Cisco security solutions
* Support the wider CDW seller & SA community on Cisco security solutions
* Lead technical Peer Review sessions
* Develop Peer Review thresholds
* Develop and conduct technical team training on our strategic solutions
* Assist with new hire mentoring
* Review and validate vendor trainings and materials
* Review and propose new products and solutions that the team should focus on
* Review existing products and solutions to ensure we're focusing on the best products for our customers
* Assist with the development of RFP/RFI process and response development
* Work with CDW practice leads, delivery, and Cisco to integrate Cisco security Solutions into CDW's go-to-market, refining and developing best practices.
* Act as a point of contact to communicate best practices to and from the team.
* Be a subject matter expert about products, applications, technical service, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising, and promotional trends through the reading of pertinent literature and consulting with marketing and technical services. Maintain credible knowledge of competing technologies and solutions.
* Understand client business drivers and needs. Provide input on strategies to drive revenue for Cisco Security solutions and the overall CDW Networking and Security practices.
* Conduct presentations online and in-person to existing and potential customers. Facilitate and perform demos for clients.
* Be responsible for maintaining partner relationship, attend trainings and seminars, and keep sales organization updated on market trends and best practices as they relate to Cisco Security solutions.
* Attend CDW led marketing efforts including manufacturer trade/partner shows, regional technology seminars, and sales events. Provide support with speaking engagements when appropriate. Minimum Qualifications:
* At least 7 years in Network Security in a technical delivery or technical sales support role
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
* Consulting or Pre-Sales experience.
* Thorough knowledge of secure networking frameworks such as Zero Trust, SASE, and Software Defined Networks Other preferred qualifications:
* Industry networking and security certifications are a plus.
* Able to handle multiple projects and customer engagements simultaneously.
* Cisco Professional or Expert-level Certifications
* Expert level proficiency in written and verbal communication skills, strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to understand, remember, and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information. Ability to organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology. Ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize. Ability to apply common sense in performing job. Ability to understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines. Ability to travel as needed.
* Ability to determine engineering effort and calculate services estimates. Write standard and custom Statements of Work.
