Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

This is a remote position.

The CFO will oversee and manage the financial operations of the organization, ensuring financial stability, compliance, and strategic financial planning. The role requires a candidate with a strong background in finance, with at least the last 5 years of experience specifically in the same field, and expertise in event planning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all financial aspects of the organization, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  

• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
  

• Develop and implement financial strategies to support organizational goals.
  

• Prepare and present financial reports to the board and stakeholders.
  

• Manage financial risk and develop strategies to mitigate potential issues.
  

• Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team.
  

• Plan and coordinate organizational events to support program goals and enhance team engagement.
  

• Collaborate with other departments to support overall organizational objectives.
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field.
  

• Minimum of 10 years of management experience, with at least the most recent 5 years specifically in finance.
  

• Proven experience in financial management, strategic planning, and compliance within the same field.
  

• Strong understanding of financial regulations and industry standards.
  

• Experience in event planning and coordination.
  

• Background in technology and education is preferred.
