We are looking for a talented and motivated Strategic Project Manager to join our team. Reporting to the Plant Director, you will act as the right-hand in implementing the plant’s strategic projects, specifically regarding the introduction of new products into production. You will support various managers and work closely with all stakeholders to ensure project success. You will also be responsible for establishing and controlling project costs.

Responsabilités :

  • Collaborer avec la Directrice de l'usine pour définir et mettre en œuvre les projets stratégiques, couvrant des domaines variés tels que l'acquisition et l'installation d'outillage et de machines, et la gestion des investissements (CAPEX).
  • Participer aux réunions stratégiques et contribuer activement à l'élaboration des plans d'action.
  • Assurer la coordination stratégique et le soutien expert des gestionnaires dans leurs projets. Cette responsabilité exige de coordonner un large éventail de parties prenantes internes (Achats, Logistique, Production) et externes (fournisseurs), de gérer les interdépendances et d'optimiser les flux pour garantir la disponibilité des ressources essentielles aux projets stratégiques.
  • Coordonner l'acquisition, l'installation et la mise en service d'équipements industriels, en incluant la passation des Bons de Commande (PO), les Tests d'Acceptation en Usine (FAT), la calibration des programmes et l'installation sur site.
  • Travailler en étroite collaboration avec toutes les parties prenantes (Achats, Production, Finance, prestataires externes, autres usines GE, etc.) pour garantir la bonne exécution et la réussite des projets.
  • Établir, contrôler et suivre rigoureusement les coûts des projets, en veillant à respecter les budgets alloués. Cela inclut la finalisation des demandes d'investissement, le déclenchement des demandes CAPEX, la préparation des analyses de Retour sur Investissement (ROI) et des "4 blockers", le suivi financier (création d'IO, activation d'actifs), ainsi que les revues et mises à jour budgétaires mensuelles.
  • Suivre l'avancement des projets et produire des rapports réguliers pour informer la direction, notamment via des mises à jour hebdomadaires, des revues mensuelles avec l'équipe financière et la préparation des "decks" de présentation (avec une maîtrise de MS Project).
  • Identifier les risques potentiels des projets et proposer des solutions proactives pour les atténuer.

Qualifications :

  • Diplôme universitaire dans un domaine pertinent à la fonction (gestion des opérations, ingénierie, etc.).
  • Expérience de 7 à 10 ans dans la gestion de projets, de préférence dans un environnement industriel/manufacturier.
  • Détenir une certification PMP (Atout)

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Plant Director to define and implement strategic projects, covering areas such as the acquisition and installation of tools and machinery, and investment management (CAPEX).
  • Participate in strategic meetings and actively contribute to the development of action plans.
  • Ensure strategic coordination and provide expert support to managers in their projects. This includes coordinating a wide range of internal stakeholders (Purchasing, Logistics, Production) and external partners (suppliers), managing interdependencies, and optimizing flows to guarantee the availability of essential resources for strategic projects.
  • Coordinate the acquisition, installation, and commissioning of industrial equipment, including issuing Purchase Orders (PO), conducting Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), program calibration, and on-site installation.
  • Work closely with all stakeholders (Purchasing, Production, Finance, external providers, other GE plants, etc.) to ensure proper execution and project success.
  • Establish, monitor, and rigorously track project costs, ensuring compliance with allocated budgets. This includes finalizing investment requests, initiating CAPEX requests, preparing Return on Investment (ROI) analyses and “4 blockers,” financial tracking (creating IO, asset activation), as well as monthly budget reviews and updates.
  • Monitor project progress and produce regular reports for management, including weekly updates, monthly reviews with the finance team, and preparing presentation decks (with proficiency in MS Project).
  • Identify potential project risks and propose proactive solutions to mitigate them.

Qualifications:

  • University degree in a relevant field (operations management, engineering, etc.).
  • 7 to 10 years of experience in project management, preferably in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
  • PMP certification (an asset).
