What you’ll accomplish with us
As a Case Manager, you’ll be at the core of our mission. Here are the main responsibilities:
Being responsible for your portfolio of disability claims, from intake to the end of the claims process;
Assessing disability benefit claims and determining eligibility while considering medical information, contractual provisions, and gathering additional information to support informed decision‑making;
Communicating with insured members, plan participants, healthcare professionals, other service providers, and various levels of government, in writing, by email, by phone, and by fax, to obtain missing information, whether medical or non‑medical;
Developing and implementing a structured case management plan;
Assessing and identifying non‑medical factors and functional limitations that may impact the duration of disability and facilitating return‑to‑work initiatives in collaboration with a rehabilitation team;
Determining a gradual return‑to‑work plan in collaboration with the attending physician, the participant, and the policyholder, as required;
Handling sensitive calls from dissatisfied or upset callers related to decisions involving denial of benefits.

Demonstrates excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage priorities effectively;
Is known for their customer‑focused mindset and collaborative approach;
Has a positive attitude and the ability to work in a fast‑paced and demanding environment;
Has 2 to 3 years of experience in case management, disability insurance, or a related field (healthcare, human resources);
Has an advanced level of proficiency in both French and English, as the role requires written and verbal communication, document analysis, and collaboration with French‑ and English‑speaking clients, participants, healthcare professionals, and external partners on a frequent and daily basis.
