Intelcom | Dragonfly

With more than 100 sorting stations and operations across three continents, Intelcom | Dragonfly is Canada’s leader in last-mile logistics. Our vision is clear: to deliver fast, accurate, and reliable service powered by cutting-edge technology.

A Strategic Role at the Heart of Logistic

Responsibilities

  • Lead the capacity team: Manage and coach a team of logistics analysts to optimize station capacity across the network, aligning strategic objectives with operational execution. Partner with Engineering and Operations to identify improvement opportunities and proactively prepare stations for peak-volume periods throughout the year.

  • Tools & systems: Lead the implementation and adoption of capacity-planning tools and best-in-class technologies, ensuring they support consistent ways of working and effective cross-team collaboration.

Capacity planning: Establish rigorous station-level capacity management processes. Ensure data owners provide timely and accurate inputs so the team can maintain a single source of truth for capacity across the network.

  • Capacity enablement for growth: Work with cross-functional partners to identify and execute opportunities that improve speed, cost, and quality—ensuring capacity is created where and when it is most needed across the network.

  • S&OP: Provide clear visibility on capacity constraints, risks, and opportunities to support realistic, data-driven decisions. Integrate capacity insights into planning discussions with stakeholders across functions.

  • KPI monitoring: Define and track KPIs related to capacity utilization, throughput performance, and service level outcomes; report trends and drive corrective actions.

  • Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with Sales, Operations, Finance, Engineering, and other stakeholders to provide transparent, decision-ready visibility into network capacity. Ensure inputs and insights from stakeholders are captured, validated, and reflected in capacity plans.

  • Risk management: Identify capacity-related risks and propose mitigation plans (e.g., rebalancing, temporary labor, process changes, or infrastructure adjustments).

  • Peak season / command center: During peak periods, lead the capacity-management workstream within the command center, ensuring rapid issue triage, clear escalation, and coordinated actions to protect service levels.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.

  • 6+ years of experience in operations, logistics, planning, or a related field.

  • 2+ years of people-management experience.

  • Strong analytical skills; ability to work with complex datasets (Excel, SQL, and/or similar tools).

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate analysis into actionable recommendations.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to influence and align diverse stakeholders.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to change.

  • High attention to detail while maintaining a holistic view of end-to-end capacity planning.

Preferred

  • Experience contributing to S&OP or other integrated planning cycles.

  • Experience in multi-site / network operations and station readiness planning.

  • Experience operating in peak-season command-center / war-room environments.

  • Demonstrated ability to build new processes and scale a team (entrepreneurial mindset).
