As a Software Engineer at Wolverine Execution Services (WEX), you'll design and develop the applications and services that support our client-facing trading platform. From order management and execution to market connectivity and operational tools, you'll help build reliable, scalable software that enables institutional trading firms to operate with confidence.
You'll work alongside experienced software engineers, traders, and product specialists to solve complex technical challenges and deliver solutions that have a direct impact on our clients. You'll contribute throughout the software development lifecycle; from design and implementation to testing, deployment, and ongoing enhancement.

What You'll Do
- Collaborate with engineers, business analysts, and support personnel to build reliable and scalable trading software
- Contribute to system design, implementation, and code reviews
- Develop and enhance C++ components within the primary trading system and supporting systems

What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of professional software development experience
- Experience working with C++ (professional or significant academic/project experience)
- Solid understanding of algorithms and data structures
- Exposure to multi-threaded or concurrent programming concepts
- Curiosity, strong problem-solving skills, and a desire to grow both technical and industry knowledge
- Clear communicator with both technical peers and business stakeholders
