About the Role

This role is for a Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to support Data as a Service (DaaS) team in delivering data solutions for the AML Compliance function.

Responsibilities 

• Conduct detailed data analysis, data mapping, and data lineage tracing across multiple financial crime data sets.
• Support the design and documentation of data transformation logic and integration workflows.
• Partner with compliance to understand data requirements for KYC, Customer Due Diligence (CDD), Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD), Transaction Monitoring, Alerts & Cases, and Customer Risk Ratings.
• Translate complex business rules into data logic requirements for engineering teams.

Required Skills and Experience

• Experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Data Analyst, or Data-Focused BSA.
• Solid experience working with AML-related data sets, including:
  • KYC, CDD, EDD 
  • Transactions, alerts, cases
  • Customer risk scores and profiles 
• Strong understanding of data governance, lineage, and metadata management.
• Bonus: Proficiency in SQL and working with structured and unstructured data sources.
• Bonus: Experience with compliance systems, such as Actimize, SAS AML, or similar platforms, is a plus.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira or Confluence.
• Strong communication skills and ability to bridge business and technical domains.
• Banking experience required
