We are seeking a Business Process and SOP Intern to support our teams in enhancing operational excellence and efficiency. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in creating, updating, and improving Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) while collaborating closely with teams across operations support.
Responsibilities
Assist in developing and formatting Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and process maps.
Support the creation of clear, high-quality documentation aligned with operational needs.
Help maintain version control and organize documentation.
Collaborate with subject-matter experts, training teams, support functions, and frontline staff to ensure processes are accurate.
Participate in process improvement workshops and business process mapping initiatives.
Gather feedback from stations, SMEs, and other teams.
The role involves daily (or regular) communication with pan-Canadian stakeholders.
Qualifications
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in logistics, operations, industrial engineering, or a related field.
Interest in operational processes, logistics, and process improvement.
Proficient in Microsoft 365, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Knowledge of process mapping tools (e.g., Lucidchart, Visio) is a plus.
Strong writing and structuring skills with attention to detail.
Proactive, detail-oriented and solution-driven mindset.
Strong collaboration and communication skills.
