Title and Summary
Lead Generation Specialist (APAC)
Mastercard Services is a fast-growing, strategic differentiator for Mastercard, powered by proprietary data, advanced technology, and deep expertise. This Business Development Representative (BDR) role directly contributes to that growth.
This position is specifically targeted at experienced Business Development Representatives based in Kuala Lumpur . We are seeking candidates who are committed to staying in the role longer term and growing within the organization.
The BDR is responsible for inbound lead follow-up and proactive outbound outreach (email, LinkedIn, calling) to engage senior decision-makers at enterprise organizations, book qualified meetings, and source business opportunities for Mastercard Services.
This role sits within the Services B2B Marketing team and works closely with Sales and regional stakeholders in a highly cross-functional, international environment.
Key responsibilities
• Execute multi-channel outbound outreach (email, LinkedIn, phone) and manage inbound leads• Engage senior enterprise decision-makers and book qualified meetings• Source high-quality opportunities and consistently deliver against quarterly opportunity targets• Maintain accurate activity, lead, and opportunity data in Salesforce• Execute outreach sequences using tools such as Outreach.io, or similar platforms• Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to align messaging and priorities• Organises and participate in initial discovery calls with sales and prospective customers• Track performance metrics and continuously optimize outreach effectiveness• Stay current on Mastercard Services solutions, industries, and market trends
About you
• Proven experience as a Business Development Representative (BDR / SDR), ideally targeting enterprise customers• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English• Second language strongly preferred, ideally Chinese (Mandarin) or Japanese• Strong working knowledge of:
o Salesforce
o LinkedIn Sales Navigator
o Sales engagement tools such as Outreach.io, ZoomInfo, or Lusha• Confident initiating and managing outbound prospecting across multiple channels• Proactive self-starter with strong ownership of pipeline and follow-through• Team-oriented collaborator who thrives in a cross-functional, international environment• Strong focus on hitting targets and delivering measurable results• Motivated by long-term career development rather than short-term role progression
