Why Fellow?
Fellow is a remote-first, Series A startup backed by Craft Ventures, iNovia, and Felicis. Our founders previously built Fluidware (acquired by SurveyMonkey), and we’re now helping the world’s best teams - from Shopify, HubSpot, and Warner Media, to startups across the globe - make meetings more productive with the power of AI. We are looking for an experienced Business Development professional with a strong desire for personal career growth, a passion for sales, and a strong interest in working in a fast-growing startup. You'll work directly with our GTM leaders on pipeline generation, playbooks, and strategies that will scale Fellow to category dominance.

What You'll Do

  • High-volume cold calling and inbound/outbound lead qualification

  • Create and deliver exceptional outreach across email and LinkedIn

  • Own the process of booking meetings and pipeline generation across inbound/outbound channels

  • Be closely involved in our inbound strategy, working with sales and marketing to drive more inbound business

  • Conduct focused, insight-led discovery to uncover a prospect's role, context, challenges, and timeline

  • Build a network of leaders, fostering relationships across our market and sharing Fellow's progress

  • Attend regular industry events, representing Fellow at conferences

  • Become an expert at telling the Fellow story and articulating our value proposition

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 1.5 years of experience in a Business Development role

  • A proven track record as a top performer

  • Independent, self-starter with a bias for action

  • Eager to ask for feedback, improve, and adapt

  • Hunger and drive — high aspirations, a competitive nature, and rapid career progression goals

  • Attention to detail — we care about producing high-quality work, not just volume

  • Grit and resilience — Business Development is tough; we need someone who can push through the "no's" and keep their head up

  • Entrepreneurial and hard-working — someone excited to build, work hard, and make things happen

What we offer

At Fellow, we invest in the people who make our mission possible:

  • Fair, competitive compensation — we benchmark against the market and pay fairly for every role.

  • Health and dental coverage, including prescription drugs and life insurance.

  • Parental leave — 12 weeks of paid leave at 80% of salary for any parent welcoming a child into their family.

  • Time to recharge — three weeks of vacation, paid sick leave, and a paid company-wide break at the end of the year.

  • Remote-first flexibility — Work remotely within Canada.

  • Room to grow — learning budgets, lunch-and-learns, and the freedom to own your work end to end.

We move quickly, share work early, and help each other get unstuck. We believe work should be fun, and we do our best work when people are curious, collaborative, direct, and genuinely excited to solve hard problems together.
