What to expect

As a Sales Development Representative (Outbound) at Broadsign, your primary responsibility is to identify, engage, and qualify high-potential accounts to consistently create a qualified sales pipeline. As the driving force behind our outbound sales efforts, you will focus on expanding Broadsign's presence among both media owners and media buyers, playing a pivotal role in establishing us as the go-to partner in the digital out-of-home (DOOH) industry.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Generate leads through outbound efforts by identifying and engaging potential media owners and media buyers, creating a robust sales pipeline for account executives and sales directors.
  • Craft and execute personalized outreach strategies by developing messaging and sequences for email, calls, LinkedIn, and other channels to effectively connect with prospects.
  • Qualify leads and convert them into opportunities by aligning potential clients' needs with Broadsign's solutions, ensuring seamless handoff to sales teams.
  • Develop assigned markets or verticals by leveraging market research to tailor outreach efforts, driving growth in targeted areas.
  • Represent Broadsign at industry events and conferences to build relationships, uncover new business opportunities, and enhance market presence (with travel upon manager approval).
  • Achieve monthly activity and conversion quotas by consistently meeting or exceeding targets for outreach and lead conversion metrics, contributing to overall revenue goals.
  • Collaborate with sales teams and refine strategies by continuously improving outreach effectiveness through regular reporting, feedback, and strategic adjustments.

What you need to perform in this job

  • Has 2+ years of progressive experience in a sales, business development, or similar quota-carrying role.
  • Previous experience in SaaS or software sales is highly preferred, demonstrating the ability to articulate technical value propositions.
  • Must be professionally fluent (verbal and written) in English, and one additional language to effectively cover diverse target markets.
  • Proven ability to manage lead lifecycles, log all activities, and maintain accurate data within Salesforce or a comparable CRM platform.
  • Demonstrated success in a high-volume outbound BDR/SDR role, comfortable managing activity and conversion targets.
  • Strong capacity for market research and the ability to quickly develop a deep understanding of the Out-of-Home (OOH) media landscape.

Knowledge of French is required for positions permanently located in Quebec so incumbents can communicate with their colleagues and partners in Quebec as necessary. French-language training is offered to all incumbents in permanent positions in Quebec who do not have a good knowledge of French. Fluent English is required for this position in order to communicate with colleagues, clients and partners (or suppliers) located outside Quebec and to understand the technical and scientific documentation used in our industry
