Summary 
Reporting to the Principal Director of Business Development and Marketing, the BDM is responsible for driving revenue growth by qualifying and closing qualified leads across the Vancouver region that are sourced through a combination of inbound marketing campaigns with outbound prospecting. A hunter mentality, exceptional presentation abilities, and exceptional networking and relationship-building skills are necessary for this position. This position involves sourcing, emailing, calling, and visiting potential contacts and existing accounts, as well as attending tradeshows and any events deemed appropriate. 

 

Day-to-Day Sales Activities 

  • Prospect and qualify new merchant partners through cold outreach, visits, trade shows, and referrals 
  • Conduct in-person meetings and product demos with clinic owners and staff 
  • Manage a regional territory and travel regularly to meet clients 
  • Maintain detailed records and pipeline updates in our CRM 

 

Strategic & Growth Focus 

  • Build long-term B2B relationships with medical, dental, cosmetic, and wellness providers 
  • Develop tailored onboarding plans and sales presentations for new partners 
  • Represent iFinance at industry events to expand brand awareness 
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure smooth partner activation and retention 

 

Qualifications 

  • Qualifications & Skills 
  • 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field. 
  • Proven ability to develop and close B2B opportunities. 
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills. 
  • Comfortable presenting to various stakeholders and decision-makers. 
  • Strong relationship-building and consultative selling skills. 
  • Proficiency in CRM platforms and Microsoft Office Suite. 
  • Experience in consumer finance, fintech, or credit-related services is a strong asset. 
  • A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle are required. 

 

Territory: Vancouver (travel required across your assigned region; mileage and expenses covered)
