An overview of your day-to-day

  • Play a key role in identifying business opportunities, making changes to the decision-making process and coordinating service proposals.

  • Use your knowledge of the field and analytical skills to suggest approaches and methodologies to respond to calls for tender and other business opportunities.

  • Actively participate in creating service proposals, including the technical and financial aspects.

  • Help stakeholders identify development approaches and business strategies and create new tools.

  • Help consolidate development approaches by ensuring the application and evolution of our standards and procedures.

  • Promote our service offer internally and implement activities to reinforce our business development capacity using your know-how and relationship skills.

  • Promote DID to funding agencies and partners at workshops and other events.

  • Develop strategic partnership with potential decision-makers for canvassing opportunities.

Are you the person we're looking for?

  • You have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

  • You have at least 6 years of experience in business development. If you acquired your experience in the international business sector, you may be the perfect candidate!

  • You have hands-on experience in business strategy and market analysis.

  • You have a natural talent for creating, writing and synthesizing information.

  • You’re known for your leadership skills, team spirit and ability to build strong business relationships.

  • You’re fluent in 2 of the 3 languages spoken at DID (French, English and Spanish).

  • Your understanding of the business environment and your customer service skills help you quickly determine the organization’s needs and issues in complex situations and within tight deadlines.

  • You see a problem as an opportunity to find the right solutions using ingenuity and creativity.
