We are looking for a team member to work closely with different teams across the organization, contributing to market analysis, business evaluations, and ongoing initiatives while developing a strong understanding of the energy trading business.
You will:
- Develop a deep understanding of the power trading business, including market dynamics, risk factors, and value drivers
- Participate in extensive market training to build strong fundamentals in energy markets
- Conduct in-depth research on energy markets, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities
- Contribute to the evaluation of new markets, segments, and strategic partnerships
- Build structured analyses to support business decisions and growth initiatives
- Prepare business cases, reports, and executive-level materials
- Support risk management initiatives by analyzing exposures, scenarios, and market developments
- Assess internal performance metrics and organizational alignment
- Actively participate in ongoing projects across the company to build a holistic understanding of operations
- Highly analytical and intellectually curious
- Structured thinker with strong problem-solving skills
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and complex markets
- Strong business acumen with the ability to connect analysis to real business impact
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to influence and engage stakeholders, including senior professionals
- Clear communicator able to synthesize complex ideas
- Master’s degree in business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years in investment banking, consulting, corporate finance, or similar
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
- Demonstrated experience using AI tools to enhance analysis or productivity
- Experience with Excel; SQL or data tools are an asset
- Entrepreneurial mindset, with side projects or initiatives
- Bilingual (French & English)

- Réaliser des analyses approfondies des marchés de l’énergie, du paysage concurrentiel et des opportunités émergentes
- Contribuer à l’évaluation de nouveaux marchés, segments et partenariats stratégiques
- Construire des analyses structurées pour soutenir les décisions d’affaires et les initiatives de croissance
- Préparer des business cases, rapports et présentations destinées à la direction
- Contribuer aux initiatives de gestion des risques en analysant les expositions, les scénarios et les évolutions de marché
- Évaluer les indicateurs de performance internes et l’alignement organisationnel
- Participer activement aux projets en cours à travers l’entreprise afin de développer une compréhension globale des opérations

- Solides compétences en modélisation financière et en analyse
- Expérience démontrée dans l’utilisation d’outils d’IA pour améliorer l’analyse ou la productivité
- Maîtrise d’Excel; SQL ou outils de données, un atout
- Esprit entrepreneurial, avec des projets ou initiatives personnelles
- Bilingue (français et anglais)
