Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Business Analyst to join our team. This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between business needs and data capabilities, helping stakeholders make informed decisions through data-driven insights. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of business processes, process design, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.Key Responsibilities:
Business Requirements & Analysis
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for data analytics initiatives.
Translate business needs into clear analytical objectives and data specifications.
Develop business cases and impact assessments based on data insights.
Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and success metrics.
Interpret data trends and patterns to identify opportunities for growth, efficiency, and risk mitigation.
Process Improvement & Strategy
Drive process improvement initiatives by analyzing, mapping, and redesigning business workflows using industry-standard methodologies and tools to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Support digital transformation and automation initiatives through business and data-backed analysis.
Contribute to strategic planning by providing market, customer, and operational insights.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work with data analysts and engineers to ensure data solutions align with business goals.
Present findings, insights, and recommendations to cross-functional teams and leadership.
Ensure data storytelling is clear, concise, and aligned with business strategy.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, Economics, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related field.
Proven experience in process improvement, mapping, and design.
4+ years of experience in business analysis in a data-driven environment.
Experience working in Insurance/InsurTech or with digital insurance platforms.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills:
Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.
Familiarity with SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
Familiarity with data governance and data quality principles.
Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) and data warehousing

Compensation
Compensation offered for this role is $66,800.00 - 120,650.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation.
