About Brain Co.

Brain Co. is building the infrastructure that turns advanced AI research into real-world impact. We work at the frontier of productionizing AI for complex, high-stakes environments—particularly in government and regulated industries where manual workflows still dominate.

Our mission is to make AI systems reliable, scalable, and dependable in the real world. That means going beyond demos and models to build robust platforms that support complex workflows, human-in-the-loop processes, and production-grade reliability at scale.

About the Role

We’re seeking a BizOps leader to join our growing team in San Francisco. This is a high-impact role at the intersection of strategy, operations, and execution — driving clarity, alignment, and scale across Brain Co.’s most important initiatives.

You’ll partner directly with the executive team and cross-functional leads to shape strategy, design and optimize business processes, and ensure flawless execution of company priorities. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity, moves seamlessly between the boardroom and the trenches, and can bridge strategic vision with operational rigor.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Strategic Initiatives: Identify, scope, and lead mission-critical projects that define Brain Co.’s growth trajectory across product, go-to-market, and operations.

  • Support Executive Decision-Making: Partner with leadership on strategic planning, fundraising support, board materials, and investor communications.

  • Build Scalable Systems: Design and implement frameworks for operational excellence across functions including finance, GTM, hiring, and partnerships.

  • Operationalize Insights: Translate complex data and analysis into actionable recommendations, ensuring initiatives deliver measurable impact.

  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Act as connective tissue between product, engineering, GTM, and operations — driving alignment and accountability.

  • Execution at Speed: Lead from the front, ensuring projects are not only designed well but also executed to a high standard on aggressive timelines.

What We’re Looking For

Experience

  • 12–15+ years of professional experience.

  • Background in top-tier consulting (McKinsey, Bain, BCG) and/or investment banking / private equity.

  • Proven operating experience in high-growth startups; ability to scale systems and processes under pressure.

  • Demonstrated track record of owning and delivering cross-functional initiatives with material business impact.

Skills & Attributes

  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills; ability to distill complexity into clarity.

  • Executive-level communication and presence; able to influence senior stakeholders and external partners.

  • Hands-on, low-ego approach; comfortable rolling up sleeves to make progress in ambiguous, high-velocity environments.

  • Strong financial and operational fluency; comfortable with metrics, models, and business KPIs.

  • Bias for action and ownership — seeing projects through from strategy to execution.

  • Must be in SF or willing to relocate (hybrid 3 days/week in office)

Why Join Us
  • Drive strategy and execution for an applied AI company tackling the world’s most consequential challenges.

  • Work directly with a world-class leadership team and investors.

  • Accelerate your career in a high-growth environment where ownership is based on impact, not tenure.

  • Earn competitive compensation + meaningful equity.

  • Thrive in a culture built on speed, curiosity, and impact.

If you want to help scale a category-defining AI company — and see your work deployed at global scale — Brain Co. is the place to build.
