As a Billing Solutions Analyst, you'll serve as a liaison between the business stakeholders and the IT organization and/or vendors to provide technical solutions to meet business needs and company objectives. You'll perform analysis and translate needs into detailed specifications to deliver solutions.
WHAT OUR BILLING SOLUTION ANALYSTS ENJOY MOST
  • Analyzing business partner's operations to understand opportunities for improvement
  • Translating high-level business requirements into functional specifications to deliver solutions for all technology platforms
  • Conducting feasibility studies and analysis to determine the most viable technical solution to business problems and requests
  • Developing use case, test plans, and coordinating testing
  • Using knowledge of business processes, functions, and procedures to assist with determining the most effective technology solution
  • Performing queries on relevant databases and interpreting and analyzing data to support solutions

On a typical day you'll establish, and document specifications and objectives based on business requirements and cost effectiveness. You'll present recommended approaches to business stakeholders to gain agreement on technology solutions. If you work independently and are comfortable presenting to various audiences, this role may be for you.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO SPECTRUM
Required Qualifications
  • Experience: Billing system (CSG preferred): 1 year or more; billing system design and configuration: 1 year or more; database reporting tools, queries, SQL, macros: 1 year or more
  • Education: Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent work experience
  • Technical skills: Proficient in Microsoft desktop products including Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio, and Project; Product Catalog database configurations and design
  • Skills: Knowledge of systems used by cable and/or telecommunications industries to support billing, customer services, and accounting activities
  • Abilities: Analyze and interpret data; communicate with all levels of management and personnel; handle multiple projects and tasks; maintain confidentiality; make decisions and solve problems under pressure; show judgement and initiative
  • Working conditions: Office environment; able to work extended hours
