Nesto is expanding, and we need a Bilingual Manager, Client Retention & Sales who is as much a strategist as they are a coach. You’ll have the freedom to build our outbound sales culture from scratch, leveraging your mortgage expertise to drive revenue in an organization that promotes from within.


Where You’ll Make An Impact:

  • Build the Sales Engine: You take a "blank slate" and turn it into a high-velocity sales engine. You will design and implement our outbound strategies, from high-conversion scripts to rigorous performance standards for this newly formed division.
  • Active Sales Coaching: You are a hands-on mentor who prefers real-time coaching and live call monitoring. You will guide our commission-based team through active pipeline management, helping them master the art of the close to hit aggressive growth targets.
  • Performance Leadership: You navigate the entire employee journey for a sales-driven roster. Your focus will be on maintaining high standards through clear production quotas, optimized commission structures, and a culture of consistent accountability.
  • Sales Pipeline Command: Maintain a real-time pulse on the outbound sales funnel, tracking lead penetration, contact rates, and conversion-to-renewal. You will translate these metrics into daily performance reporting, ensuring leadership has total visibility into the team's output and ROI.
  • Pipeline Optimization: You ensure no opportunity is left on the table by leveraging our modern tech stack, including Five9. You will manage lead flow with precision, ensuring the pipeline is optimized for maximum conversion.
  • Bilingual Sales Excellence: You ensure every client receives the same quality of service across Canada. You will provide tactical leadership and coaching to our bilingual team, ensuring our sales approach is equally effective and compliant in both English and French.
  • Strategic Escalation Management: You are the lead point of resolution for complex escalations. Using your deep mortgage expertise, you will handle rate complaints and consultant misunderstandings to protect both the deal and the client relationship.


What We Value:

  • Two (2) or more years of experience leading sales teams in a commission-based environment (e.g., banking, insurance, or mortgages). You are comfortable navigating the entire employee journey, including talent acquisition, real-time training, and performance management.
  • You have a track record of leading sales teams in a commission-based environment. You know how to motivate high-performers, coach through "slumps," and keep the team focused on hitting their production targets.
  • You prefer "in-the-ear" coaching over high-level feedback. You are comfortable jumping into a call to help a team member navigate a difficult objection or close a complex deal in real-time.
  • You believe that sales success is a result of discipline. You aren't afraid of "hard conversations" regarding performance and you lead by the numbers to ensure the team meets its growth objectives.
  • You can de-escalate complex rate complaints and build rapport with clients in both English and French. You ensure our sales approach remains professional and effective across our national footprint.
  • You understand that a high-velocity sales engine requires clean data. You bring experience with integrated sales platforms and the technical aptitude to optimize our outbound workflows within Salesforce and Five9.
  • Possession of a Mortgage Broker or Mortgage Agent license.
