Position Overview

The Enterprise Solution Architect at Arctiq serves as a key technical pre-sales resource, working closely with Client Directors to identify, qualify, and develop customer solutions across our entire portfolio. This is a bilingual role requiring fluency in both English and French. This role requires a broad understanding of all practices (Enterprise Security, Hybrid Cloud, Networking, Autonomous Operations and Intelligence, Data & AI, and Service Management) with prior depth in Security. The ideal candidate will confidently lead technical conversations while knowing when to bring in specialized team members for deeper expertise. The ideal candidate will embrace a culture of continuous learning and technological experimentation, viewing challenges as opportunities for growth while actively exploring and adapting to emerging technologies that expand our collective capabilities.


Responsibilities: 


    • Lead customer discovery sessions to understand business challenges, technical requirements, and desired outcomes across infrastructure, cloud, security, networking, and applications.
    • Translate customer needs into scalable, secure, and commercially viable multi-domain solution architectures.
    • Architect integrated solutions across data center, virtualization, hybrid cloud, networking, cybersecurity, and application environments.
    • Leverage technologies from strategic partners including VMware, Nutanix, Red Hat, AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, and others across Arctiq’s portfolio.
    • Identify modernization, optimization, cost reduction, resiliency, performance, and risk-reduction opportunities.
    • Develop compelling proposals, SOWs, RFP responses, solution designs, and level-of-effort estimates.
    • Partner with sales teams throughout the sales cycle to position solutions, answer technical questions, and drive opportunities forward.
    • Present and defend solutions with confidence to both technical and executive audiences, clearly connecting technology to business value.
    • Support pricing, ROI/TCO discussions, and managed services positioning where appropriate.
    • Work closely with delivery teams to ensure a smooth handoff from solution design to implementation and provide architectural guidance as needed.
    • Stay engaged with customers post-sale to support adoption, satisfaction, and expansion opportunities.
    • Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities and help shape go-to-market strategy, service offerings, and new solution capabilities.
    • Stay current on emerging technologies and industry trends and contribute to thought leadership, reference architectures, and best practices.
    • Represent Arctiq in customer workshops, partner discussions, webinars, and industry events as a trusted technical advisor.
    • Mentor internal teams, share technical knowledge, and help strengthen Arctiq’s overall solution and delivery capabilities.

    Qualifications: 

    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
    • 8+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, solution consulting, or pre-sales engineering within a VAR, integrator, or services organization.
    • In-depth experience in pre-sales technical roles, solution architecture, or consulting within technology services
    • Demonstrated and applied experience in establishing and delivering complex projects, showcasing a track record of successful implementations while continuously evolving approaches based on lessons learned and emerging best practices
    • Relevant certifications in security, cloud platforms, cloud-native technologies, observability, DevOps, and/or FinOps practices.
    • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences
    • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels
    • Proactive and strategic thinking with a customer-centric focus
    • Adaptability in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities 
    • Fully bilingual English and French
    • A genuine desire to operate as part of a collaborative team 

    Desired Experience: 

    • Knowledge across security operations, identity, data security, zero trust, and GRC.
    • Understanding of hybrid cloud concepts
    • Understanding of observability platforms and practices
    • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verball, you can command a room and write a crisp executive summary.
    • Fluency in TCO/ROI modeling and the ability to make financial cases land with non-technical executives.
    • Comfort managing multiple active opportunities in parallel without losing quality or momentum on any of them.
