We are looking for a Bilingual (French & English) Client Engagement Representative to strengthen subscription client relationships by providing insights, training and best practices while upselling new services to existing clients. This individual will introduce potential use-cases and communicate the ROI of implementing best practices with our key strategic partners to increase utilization and achieve our retention goals.

Employment Status: Full-time, permanent

Job Type: Remote - Please note that our ideal candidate for this position lives in Ottawa, Ontario or anywhere in Quebec, Canada. 

Location: London, ON

Please note that we have two operating entities in Canada, CARFAX Inc., and CARFAX Canada. This position is with CARFAX Canada.


Job Details

This role exists to onboard and train subscription customers, thus increasing their utilization of our products, their adoption of new products, and lead them to renewing their subscription services year over year. The role benefits the business by increasing our sales revenue through reducing churn and growing our book of business. We ensure our customers are well positioned to adopt our products in a way that will help them grow their business and see us as business partners, instead of vendors.

Position Responsibilities

  • Maintain and maximize revenue across your client-base through increasing product utilization and customer retention through the demonstration of product use-cases and their ROI
  • Establish a coaching relationship with assigned accounts
  • Collaborate with Regional Sales Managers on executing plans for dealer groups and dealerships in your region
  • Prepare and execute presentations to demonstrate value in the CARFAX Canada family of products
  • Perform effective training and demos on how to use our products, add products, and address any resulting questions or concerns
  • Leverage our CRM database to identify opportunities, run reports, and track and maintain accounts

Education and Experience Required:

  • The successful candidate for this position must be Bilingual (French & English
  • The successful candidate for this position must be located in Ottawa/Quebec. 
  • 2+ years of sales or account management experience
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • A positive attitude and desire to celebrate wins
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team
  • Ability to identify and solve problems
  • Ability to build relationships
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the automotive industry is considered an asset
