How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Design and configure automation and communication systems for power networks.
  • Develop engineering documentation and technical specifications for projects.
  • Collaborate with project managers and cross-functional teams to meet deadlines.
  • Provide technical leadership and resolve design challenges during execution.
  • Engage with customers to optimize system performance and ensure satisfaction.
  • Support proposal development with technical input and cost recommendations.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives for engineering processes and standards.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices.
    Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 12–16 years of experience in automation and communication engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of IEC 61850, SCADA systems, and substation automation.
  • Proficiency with industry standards and vendor technologies.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
    Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
