The Associate Strategic Engagement Manager is a key role responsible for driving and aligning multiple projects and programs to the company's yearly Strategic Priorities. This role fosters cross-functional collaboration and execution of priorities contributing to the achievement of company goals.
The role involves leading and supporting internal strategy engagements focused on business transformation, process optimization, and strategic initiatives. You will work cross-functionally across various business units, building and managing relationships with senior executives and facilitating the implementation of high-visibility initiatives. The Strategic Engagement Manager will also work closely with Global Operations Program Management teams to align programs and projects to priority and delivery timelines in accordance with the yearly Strategic Priorities.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead, support, and identify strategic engagements to foster the continuous improvement and business transformation of the organization, working collaboratively and cross-functionally. Address complex challenges, and provide innovative solutions to meet business needs.
- Drive and synchronize multiple projects and programs in alignment with the company's annual strategic priorities.
- Evaluate the significance of underlying programs/projects within the Strategic Program framework and facilitate the execution of internal initiatives.
- Establish and maintain relationships with senior executives across various business functions and provide clear and timely updates on aligned programs, including the identification and resolution of obstacles.
- Exhibit thoughtful leadership on complex, large-scale programs and projects.
- Scope, analyze, develop hypotheses/conclusions, compile final reports, and deliver presentations.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience: 5+ years of process or program/project management experience is required in the high-tech industry, consulting, project management or related roles. Experience leading cross functional teams is preferred. Experience in leading internal strategy and planning initiatives in industry is also valuable.
- Education: A Bachelor's Degree in a business or technical discipline is required, MBA is preferred.
- Problem Solving: Expert knowledge of the strategy discipline and hypothesis-based consulting approach is essential. You must be able to develop sophisticated hypotheses, test for depth, completeness, and relevance, and analyze complex new situations. This includes the ability to break down and solve problems through quantitative thinking and analysis.
- Communication: Possess strong structured communication skills. Experience in applying analyses and frameworks to issues, developing and executing recommendations. You need excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing, and the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
- Leadership & Influence: Ability to manage organizational resources, priorities, business objectives, and policies in a matrixed environment. Crucially, you must be able to influence people and cross-functional business units, including Executive Management and Senior Leadership, especially in complex/difficult situations requiring considerable diplomacy.
- Focus on Impact: You will be responsible for the successful completion and presentation of project deliverables, managing engagement planning, and influencing overall engagement/workstream success.
- Relationship Building: You must possess the ability to build relationships across verticals and leadership hierarchy. Strong interpersonal skills, listening skills, and the ability to gain confidence quickly are vital.
- Project Management: Strong project management skills are required. The ability to manage multiple projects concurrently is also important.
- Adaptability: You need the ability to navigate a changing and fast paced business environment. Comfort with ambiguous, ever-changing situations is necessary.
- Will be required to travel around 10% annually
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in managing projects in similar industries or with leading consulting firms, demonstrating a proven track record of successful client engagements and project deliveries.
- Familiarity with emerging technologies, AI tools, automation solutions, or industry-specific software that can drive operational efficiencies.
- Demonstrated experience in scaling operations, expanding into global markets, or implementing process improvements that have significantly impacted business performance.
The base pay range for this position varies based on the geographic location. More information about the pay range specific to candidate location and other factors will be shared during the recruitment process. Individual pay is determined based on location of residence and multiple factors, including job-related knowledge, skills and experience.
