About Brim

Brim Financial is a category defining fintech, building the operating system for credit cards and payments. Our platform powers card programs for banks, credit unions, fintechs, and global brands across North America. We are a fast growing company. We are backed by EDC Growth Equity, Epic Ventures, Vistara Growth, and Impression Ventures and have been recognized as a CB Insights Fintech 100 company and Deloitte Fast 50 and Deloitte Fast 500 winner.

This is a role where you'll support real product work that ships to a production platform powering credit card and payments programs for banks, fintechs, and brands across North America. You'll work alongside senior product, engineering, and design leaders who will help you grow fast - and you'll be expected to understand not just what we're building, but why it creates value for our clients and their customers.

This role is ideal for students who think like builders, are energized by ambiguity, and want real exposure to how a product actually gets from idea to production.

What You'll Do
  • Support end-to-end product development: from research and requirements through launch and iteration.
  • Work closely with Engineering, Design, and Business teams on features shipping to real clients.
  • Help translate partner and business needs into clear product requirements and specs.
  • Support the definition of product positioning and user experience.
  • Document workflows, specs, and processes to keep cross-functional teams aligned.
  • Get exposure to partner and client-facing product work across banks, fintechs, and brands.
What You'll Bring
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, graduating no later than August 2027.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
  • Genuine curiosity about how fintech and payments products actually work, end-to-end.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfort operating in a fast-paced, execution-focused, and sometimes ambiguous environment.
  • Exposure to product management, business analysis, or technical concepts through coursework, projects, or prior internships.
  • Basic understanding of APIs, system integrations, or technical workflows is a plus.
Bonus if You Have
  • Hands-on experience with tools like Linear or Confluence.
  • Experience working with AI/LLM tools in a product or analytical context.
  • Prior internship or project experience in fintech, payments, or financial services.
  • Experience with software development.
Why Join Brim
  • Own real product work on a live fintech platform used by banks and brands across North America.
  • Work directly with senior product, engineering, and design leaders in a high-growth environment.
  • Get end-to-end exposure - from client conversations to shipped features.
  • Learn modern product tools and workflows, including AI-assisted approaches.
Other Information
  • Remote (US/Canada) | 3 months to 12 months
  • Compensation: CA $45,000-$60,000 (pro-rated for the length of the contract)
  • Base salary range: For this role, candidates can expect a base salary range, described in the posting. Actual compensation is determined based on skills, experience, and role level. Exceptional candidates may be considered above the top of the range, and pay can increase quickly for those who make a big impact in the role.
