What We Need 

We are looking for an Associate Account Manager to join Element Fleet Management.   As the largest pure-play fleet manager in the world, we provide unmatched products and services and solutions to our clients.

As the Associate Account Manager, you are the primary client contact, responsible for developing and maintaining effective relationships with existing small and medium enterprise Fleet portfolios. Measured targets towards revenue growth through added
services, retention, and management of vehicle order expectations along with general account management activities make up the core objectives. Opportunities to gain experience selling to new prospects and earn additional incentives are possible.

A Day in the Life

  • Proactive outreach and/or active discussions with existing customer portfolio to
    uncover opportunities and requirements, conduct business reviews, establish trust,
    and build rapport.  Articulate Element’s value proposition and suite of products and
    services, manage and overcome objections and address outstanding client
    escalations, questions and concerns.  Use Element sponsored sales and account
    management best practices and methods.
  •  Reactive response to existing clients with a variety of questions that may require research and follow up with different teams throughout Element, acting as primary point person to manage a solution through finish to meet client needs.
  • Detailed recordkeeping of key information about our clients, our interactions, status of open opportunities and assessment of the health of our partnerships using Element applications.
  • Build a network of trusted peers to continually help you sell, research, answer, resolve, collaborate, and learn about the wide variety of fleet related topics you and your clients will experience daily.
  • Pursue first call warm leads, evaluate prospects to determine fit for Element, continue discussions, demonstrations, proposals and problem solving and value propositions through contract signature to win new deals and grow your own portfolio.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 1-3 years in strategic account management or client facing related position
  • Experience and comfort working with Salesforce.com or similar Customer Relationship Management software
  • Experience and comfort working with Microsoft products (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams)

Knowledge and Experience

  • Strong financial and business acumen
  • Desire to incorporate Trust into client and work relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify, and close opportunities within existing client portfolio (i.e. Share of Wallet Opportunities
  • Must possess strong sensitivity to clients’ needs; ability to identify pain points and turn them into opportunities
  • Be comfortable speaking with a variety of client roles, Administrative Assistants to C-level Executives.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to be organized, prioritize workload and execute plans effectively
  • Understand proper business etiquette regarding setting up and leading virtual and in person meetings with clients and representing Element in a professional manner.
  • Have a genuine curiosity to learn and understand your clients, help solve their problems and track all open issues through completion.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%

The hiring base salary range for this position is $62,600 - $86,000 CAD annually. Actual compensation within this range will be dependent upon the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data. Please note that the disclosed salary range is solely for candidates hired to perform work within this geographic location. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location.
