Analyste, performance financière 

The Leader - Coûts & Performance joue un rôle central dans la compréhension, l’analyse et l’optimisation des coûts ainsi que dans le soutien de la performance manufacturière et la performance organisationnelle. En tant qu’expert interne, il fournit des analyses approfondies, développe des indicateurs clés et soutient les équipes opérationnelles et financières dans leurs décisions. Grâce à son esprit d’équipe, sa capacité à vulgariser l’information financière et sa collaboration étroite avec l’usine et les bureaux, il contribue à améliorer la rentabilité, l’efficacité des processus et la qualité de l’information financière.

TÂCHES ET RESPONSABILITÉS: 

Coûts standards, analyses de coûts et performance

  • Évaluer, maintenir et améliorer les coûts standards des produits.

  • Analyser les écarts de coûts (marge directe, écarts à l’achat, écarts de production, rendement, efficacité).

  • Réaliser des analyses de rentabilité et de performance des produits.

  • Soutenir le processus de soumissions en fournissant des analyses de coûts précises et fiables.

Performance opérationnelle et indicateurs

  • Développer, suivre et améliorer les indicateurs de performance liés aux coûts, à l’efficacité opérationnelle et à la rentabilité.

  • Fournir des analyses et recommandations aux équipes Opérations, Achats, Ingénierie et Finance.

Rôle d’expert et collaboration transversale

  • Agir comme expert interne en coûts et performance auprès de la direction financière et des équipes opérationnelles.

  • Participer activement aux projets d’amélioration continue et aux initiatives stratégiques de l’entreprise.

  • Soutenir la Directrice Finances en apportant une expertise approfondie en coût de revient et en performance manufacturière.

Fermeture financière et rapports

  • Contribuer activement aux fermetures financières mensuelles, incluant les analyses de coûts et d’inventaire.

  • Produire, améliorer et assurer l’exactitude des rapports financiers liés aux coûts et à la performance.

  • Participer aux prévisions financières liées aux coûts (forecast, budget) et assurer le suivi des écarts.

Contrôles internes et audits

  • Participer à la validation financière des inventaires cycliques et annuels.

  • Effectuer les tests, contrôles de conformité et soutenir les audits internes et externes.

  • Assurer l’intégrité des données liées aux coûts, à l’inventaire et aux processus financiers.

Autres responsabilités

  • Contribuer à diverses initiatives financières ou opérationnelles selon les besoins.

  • Effectuer toutes autres tâches connexes.

 

 

COST & PERFORMANCE LEAD

 

The  Cost & Performance lead plays a central role in understanding, analyzing, and optimizing costs, while supporting both manufacturing performance and overall organizational performance. As an internal expert, the person in this role provides indepth analyses, develops key performance indicators, and supports operational and financial teams in their decisionmaking. Through their teamwork, ability to clearly communicate financial information, and close collaboration with both plant and office teams,  the person on this role contributes to improving profitability, process efficiency, and the quality of financial information.

 

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

Standard Costs, Cost Analysis and Performance

  • Evaluate, maintain, and improve product standard costs.

  • Analyze cost variances (direct margin, purchase variances, production variances, yield, efficiency).

  • Conduct profitability and product performance analyses.

  • Support the quotation process by providing accurate and reliable cost analyses.

Operational Performance and KPIs

  • Develop, monitor, and improve performance indicators related to costs, operational efficiency, and profitability.

  • Provide analyses and recommendations to Operations, Purchasing, Engineering, and Finance teams.

Expert Role and Cross‑Functional Collaboration

  • Act as an internal expert in cost and performance for the Finance Director and operational teams.

  • Actively participate in continuous improvement projects and strategic initiatives across the organization.

  • Support the Finance Director by providing in‑depth expertise in costing and manufacturing performance.

Financial Close and Reporting

  • Contribute actively to monthly financial close activities, including cost and inventory analyses.

  • Produce, enhance, and ensure the accuracy of financial reports related to costs and performance.

  • Participate in cost‑related forecasting and budgeting activities and monitor variances.

Internal Controls and Audits

  • Participate in the financial validation of cycle counts and annual inventory counts.

  • Perform compliance tests and controls and support internal and external audits.

  • Ensure the integrity of data related to costs, inventory, and financial processes.

Other Responsibilities

  • Contribute to various financial or operational initiatives as needed.

  • Perform any other related duties.

Qualifications

 

COMPÉTENCES RECHERCHÉES 

Le titulaire possède un sens analytique développé, une excellente capacité de synthèse et une compréhension approfondie du coût de revient manufacturier. Il se distingue par son esprit d’équipe, sa capacité à collaborer efficacement avec des collègues de tous les départements (usine et bureaux) et sa facilité à communiquer des concepts financiers de manière claire. Autonome, rigoureux et débrouillard, il peut gérer plusieurs priorités simultanément. Il sait traduire les opérations en données financières (et inversement), naviguer dans un environnement manufacturier dynamique et proposer des solutions concrètes pour améliorer la performance.

EXIGENCES DU POSTE

  • Titre de CPA et un minimum de 3 à 5 années d’expérience en coût de revient dans un environnement manufacturier.

  • Excellente compréhension des systèmes ERP (SAP constitue un atout important).

  • Maîtrise de Microsoft Excel (niveau intermédiaire ou avancé) et aisance avec les outils informatiques.

  • Niveau d’anglais avancé.

CONDITIONS SPÉCIFIQUES AU POSTE

  • Travail en mode hybride, principalement en environnement de bureau, avec des interactions régulières avec les équipes opérationnelles en usine.

  • Disponibilité accrue lors des périodes de fermeture financière mensuelle ou lors de projets spéciaux

 

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES

The person demonstrates strong analytical skills, excellent synthesis abilities, and an indepth understanding of manufacturing costing. He stands out through his teamwork, his ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues across all departments (plant and office), and his talent for communicating financial concepts clearly. Autonomous, rigorous, and resourceful, he can manage multiple priorities simultaneously. He can translate operational activities into financial data (and vice versa), navigate a dynamic manufacturing environment, and propose practical solutions to improve performance.

JOB REQUIREMENTS 

  • CPA designation and a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in cost accounting within a manufacturing environment.

  • Excellent understanding of ERP systems (SAP is a strong asset).

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (intermediate or advanced level) and ease with digital tools.

  • Bilingual (spoken and written)

 

POSITIONSPECIFIC CONDITIONS

  • Hybrid work arrangement, primarily in an office environment, with regular interactions with operational teams in the plant. 

  • Increased availability during monthly financial close periods or special projects.
