XTL Transport Inc. est à la recherche d’un(e) analyste comptable bilingue doté(e) d’une solide éthique de travail et d’un esprit d’équipe positif, pour la région de Montréal.
L’analyste comptable est responsable de la clôture mensuelle de diverses entités juridiques, de la préparation des écritures de journal, des déclarations de TPS/TVQ, de certaines tâches liées aux comptes fournisseurs, des rapprochements bancaires ainsi que de l’analyse de données, au besoin.
Qualifications

  • Certificat d’études postsecondaires ou diplôme en administration avec des cours en comptabilité complétés.
  • Titre de CPA en cours d’obtention ou déjà obtenu.
  • Minimum de deux années d’expérience progressive en comptabilité, tous secteurs confondus (une expérience dans le transport constitue un atout).
  • Maîtrise avancée de Microsoft Excel (recherches V, tableaux croisés dynamiques, etc.) et aisance avec différents systèmes ERP.
  • Excellentes aptitudes en gestion du temps, en organisation et en communication interpersonnelle, tant au sein du département qu’entre les différents services.
  • Connaissance de base des systèmes comptables, des budgets, de la conformité et des contrôles internes.
Responsabilités
  • Participer à la préparation et à la révision de certains états financiers sur une base périodique/mensuelle pour des entités de plus petite taille.
  • Effectuer avec précision les conciliations bancaires, les suivis mensuels de continuité et les conciliations du bilan (y compris intersociétés).
  • Produire les déclarations de TPS/TVQ en fin de période et assurer la tenue des registres.
  • Maintenir un grand livre général clair et fonctionnel pour diverses entités juridiques, au besoin.
  • Assumer certaines responsabilités liées aux comptes fournisseurs, notamment la clôture des bons de commande et la saisie des factures dans les délais requis, ainsi que la numérisation et l’indexation dans le système ERP pour l’archivage des données.
  • Réaliser des analyses et projets ponctuels à partir de données comptables, selon les besoins.
  • Proposer des idées d’amélioration des processus et de gain d’efficacité, sans compromettre la précision.
  • Participer à la formation croisée avec l’équipe comptable afin d’assurer le remplacement durant les périodes de vacances.

Position Summary

XTL Transport Inc. is seeking a bilingual accounting analyst with a strong work ethic and a positive team-oriented attitude to join our team in the Montreal region.

The accounting analyst is responsible for the monthly closing of various legal entities, preparation of journal entries, GST/QST returns, certain accounts payable activities, bank reconciliations, and data analysis, as required.

Qualifications
  • Post-secondary certificate or diploma in Business Administration, with completed accounting courses.
  • CPA designation in progress or already obtained.
  • Minimum of two years of progressive accounting experience in any industry; transportation experience is considered an asset.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, PivotTables, etc.) and comfortable working with various ERP systems.
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills, both within the department and across different departments.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting systems, budgeting, compliance, and internal controls.
Responsibilities
  • Assist with the preparation and review of certain financial statements on a periodic/monthly basis for smaller entities.
  • Accurately perform bank reconciliations, monthly continuity schedules, and balance sheet reconciliations, including intercompany accounts.
  • Prepare GST/QST returns at period-end and maintain the related records.
  • Maintain an accurate and functional general ledger for various legal entities, as required.
  • Handle certain accounts payable responsibilities, including closing purchase orders and entering invoices within the required timelines, as well as scanning and indexing documents in the ERP system for data archiving.
  • Perform ad hoc analyses and projects using accounting data, as required.
  • Recommend process improvements and efficiency initiatives without compromising accuracy.
  • Participate in cross-training with the accounting team to ensure coverage during vacation periods.
