What we are looking for:
At Fiera, we're committed to shaping the future of investment strategy and driving the growth and resilience of our global investment platform. We are a leading player in the asset management industry and we are looking for an Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will provide analytical and research support to the Public Markets Office across a range of investment and strategic initiatives. You will contribute to the preparation of investment reviews, conduct market and competitor analysis, and support broader Public Markets business research. You will work closely with investment teams and key stakeholders to help address investment and business challenges across the platform.
Your responsibilities:
Strategic Support
Support platform initiatives that enhance client outcomes and platform competitiveness & efficiency
Help coordinate work across Public Market stakeholders such as Investment Teams, Implementation & Trading, and key functions
Prepare clear, executive‑ready materials
Help sustain effective collaboration with public markets sub‑advisors/external managers
Monitor and understand the appetite of our distribution channels
Investment Platform Oversight
Participate in investment analyses on flagship products offered across our investment platform
Support in accurate and timely completion of recurring reporting deliverables covering the public market platform’s performance, competitiveness, and key highlights, presented to diverse internal and external stakeholders
Perform routine due diligence on Fiera's investment teams, covering aspects such as people, processes, and marketability
Provide ad‑hoc support to distribution on RFPs, due‑diligence requests, and client inquiries
Business/Data Management & Governance
Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date records on portfolio management teams, investment strategies, and pooled fund mandates across internal systems
Collaborate with internal business functions (e.g. Performance, Operations, Compliance, Legal, Marketing, and Finance on tasks/projects requiring an understanding of the investment platform
Contribute to improvements in processes and reporting; document changes and outcomes
Participate in governance forums as a preparer/note‑taker; track decisions and follow‑ups to completion
Support vendor governance & maintenance to support the business and Investment Teams
Must have requirements to be successful in this role:
Bachelor's degree in finance, mathematics, actuarial sciences or any other quantitative discipline
1-3 years of relevant public markets experience (manager research, investment due‑diligence, fund analysis, performance/risk analytics, investment governance, or similar areas)
Strong knowledge or interest of quantitative methods, programming skills and experience of data organization
Flexibility and cooperative attitude to change
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to innovate and initiate actions independently
Strong oral and written communication skills in French and English
Elements considered an asset:
Master's degree in finance, financial mathematics or economics, an asset
CFA or other relevant designations considered, an asset

Fiera Capital adheres to a hybrid working environment with 4 days in-office per week.
