What Exception Management contributes to Cardinal Health
Revenue Management is responsible for developing, communicating, and leading the execution of market strategy and profitability optimization through pricing and value-capture activities at both the strategic and tactical levels.  The group uses modeling, analytics, and econometrics to create pricing strategies for our products and services.
Exception Management monitors and approves (either directly or via a formal governance process depending on specifics) any pre- or post-deal deviation from standard pricing across all product and service lines, as well as driving overall improvement in the speed, efficiency, and efficacy of exception management processes.  The job family also uses price sensitivity and other key analytics to drive to optimize pricing outcomes for the business.
Qualifications

  • More than 2 years of experience with product pricing, preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred

  • Applies basic concepts, principles and technical capabilities to perform routine tasks
  • Works on projects of limited scope and complexity
  • Follows established procedures to resolve readily identifiable technical problems
  • Works under direct supervision and receives detailed instructions
  • Develops competence by performing structured work assignments

** Internal candidates have to be in a B3/B4/P1 role for a minimum of 12 months to be eligible to apply for this position
