As a data analysis advisor, you support the IT Services Administrative Department by providing in-depth analytical expertise on cross-sector activities related to service management, compliance, performance, process maturity and governance. You use and provide in-depth analysis of data, particularly data provided by ServiceNow, to diagnose complex problems, evaluate how well existing practices are working and make structured recommendations on priorities to focus on. You present operational and management data in formats that help management and stakeholders make decisions. You take an advisory role to assist management teams and subject matter experts with analyzing situations and planning control indicators, implementation and tracking. You actively help build analytical and operational maturity by developing work tools, methods and processes, while supporting training, communication and coordination activities. More specifically, you will be required to:

  • Analyze and use data from IT service management activities, including ServiceNow, Excel and Power BI, to support compliance, governance and strategic decision-making.

  • Coordinate and support compliance activities within the administrative department by analyzing data, reporting information and monitoring legal, regulatory and security requirements.

  • Help increase the maturity of service management practices by supporting subject matter experts with analysis, indicators and factual observations.

  • Support performance reporting activities, including analyzing results, preparing presentations and monitoring action plans.

  • Use data to identify and analyze opportunities for improvement, report them, and make clear, justified recommendations for changes to be implemented.

  • Develop, document and update work methods, tools and processes, including indicators, dashboards and monitoring mechanisms.

  • Serve as an analytical partner for internal stakeholders by explaining complex analyses in plain language and supporting processes for monitoring and applying management policies and practices.

What you bring to the table

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field

  • A minimum of four years of relevant experience

  • Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered

  • Knowledge of French is required

  • Proficiency in ITIL practices

  • Proficiency in Excel and Office 365

  • Knowledge of ServiceNow

  • Knowledge of Power BI, Power Query and DAX

  • Knowledge of SQL

  • Knowledge of report and dashboard design
