You’ll be part of a team that’s in charge of quantifying financial risks. You'll play a key role in supporting data scientists and data modellers in their analytical work. Your mission will be to turn raw data into reliable and useable assets by ensuring the quality and availability of the data for mathematical models and strategic analyses. More specifically, you will be required to :
Define needs by collaborating with data scientists and contributors to understand the analytical objectives and to translate these needs into clear specifications.
Explore source systems by identifying and documenting relevant internal and external data sources related to credit risk.
Select and prepare data sets by extracting, cleaning and structuring data to ensure consistency and integrity.
Contribute to data quality and governance initiatives by implementing controls and indicators to ensure data quality, traceability and compliance with internal and regulatory standards.
Document and communicate by producing clear and rigorous documentation on flows, transformations and applied rules to facilitate understanding and reuse.
Deliver data by providing reliable and complete data sets on time, while respecting the deadlines for modelling projects.
Propose solutions by enhancing the valorization processes and anticipating future data needs.

What you bring to the table
Bachelor’s degree in IT, data science, statistics, business intelligence or a related field
A minimum of six years of relevant experience in data management and data valorization, ideally in a financial or financial risk management context
Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
Knowledge of French is required
Intermediate knowledge of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients
Proficiency in data mining techniques
Proficiency in data handling tools and data manipulation languages: SQL, and ideally SAS
Knowledge of credit risk concepts and regulatory standards (IFRS9, Basel)
