Are you passionate about data and want to join a dynamic and growing team? We’re looking for a senior data valorization advisor to support the Operations Executive Division’s sectors in delivering data and analytics solutions. You’ll help use and valorize data that comes through different channels. You’ll lead and influence different contributors to complete key operational initiatives that are rooted in the data strategy and will help managers make effective decisions at the right time. More specifically, you will be required to:

  • Help implement the data and analytics (D&A) service offer in the Operations Executive Division’s sectors

  • Determine the road map’s priorities by following up and communicating with contributors (data strategy, innovative projects and regular operations)

  • Prepare to carry out initiatives modernizing core business systems

  • Roll out and execute development requests for complex Desjardins-wide projects, such as the Cooperating for the Climate Challenge dashboard

  • Provide clear, transparent updates on the progress of the various deliverables in the roadmap

  • Maintain good relationships with various contributors

  • Support data valorization advisors across the various stages of their mandate

  • Get feedback from sectors, identify areas for improvement and update data management tools

What you bring to the table

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field

  • A minimum of six years of relevant experience

  • Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered

  • Experience in project coordination, analytics product ownership or business intelligence project management

  • Experience ensuring consistency across modernization projects

  • Knowledge of French is required

  • Ability to communicate information in plain language

  • Proficiency with data visualization tools (preferably Power BI)

  • Knowledge of query and data mining languages (SQL and SAS)
