As AI becomes embedded across Workhuman, this role will help turn experimentation into governed, measurable enterprise value. You will lead the enterprise AI portfolio and governance flow, partnering across business and technology teams to prioritise the right opportunities, apply proportionate controls and make outcomes, risks and dependencies visible.

**This is a hybrid role requiring at least 3 days per week onsite in our Dublin office.

 

What we can offer you:

  • Shape Workhuman’s enterprise AI portfolio, from use-case intake and prioritisation through governance review, delivery visibility and value realisation.

  • Design and operate a pragmatic, risk-based AI governance model that embeds human accountability and proportionate privacy, security, data, legal and responsible AI controls into delivery.

  • Partner with AI Business Partners, Data Stewards, Process Owners and colleagues across Technology, Enterprise Architecture, Security, Privacy and Legal so ownership is clear and decisions move efficiently.

  • Establish transparent portfolio reporting and outcome measures, giving senior leaders a clear view of AI investment, adoption, realised value, risk and cross-domain dependencies.

  • Create reusable governance standards, decision criteria, templates and review pathways that allow teams to innovate safely without unnecessary friction.

  • Help mature Workhuman’s federated AI operating model, balancing central standards and enablement with domain accountability for business outcomes and ongoing AI operations.

 

What You Bring

  • Experience in AI governance, technology governance, portfolio management, risk, product/programme management or a related field, with the ability to translate governance into practical delivery.

  • A strong understanding of AI lifecycle risks and controls across areas such as privacy, security, data, model behaviour, human oversight, third parties and responsible AI.

  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to build trusted relationships with senior business and technology stakeholders, facilitate trade-offs and influence without relying on hierarchy.

  • Strong analytical and communication skills, including the ability to turn complex portfolios, risks and dependencies into clear executive-level reporting and actions.

  • Familiarity with enterprise AI platforms, copilots, agents, data and knowledge patterns, or a proven ability to learn emerging technologies quickly.

  • Led or played a key role in establishing a governance or portfolio framework that improved prioritisation, transparency, decision quality or delivery speed.

  • Delivered a cross-functional risk or governance approach that enabled innovation while meeting appropriate control, assurance or regulatory needs.

  • Established outcome or value tracking that helped leaders understand whether technology or AI investments were delivering measurable impact.

  • Influenced senior stakeholders to resolve competing priorities, clarify accountability or address material cross-domain dependencies.
