About the RoleAs an Implementation Consultant at Boon AI, you’ll lead the successful onboarding of new trucking and logistics customers, ensuring our AI platform is seamlessly configured to deliver measurable ROI. You’ll partner with operations leaders, dispatchers, and back-office stakeholders to design, implement, and train teams on how to integrate Boon’s AI agents into their daily workflows. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role requiring strong technical fluency, domain empathy, and program management discipline.
You’ll serve as a trusted advisor throughout the customer onboarding journey—from initial discovery through go-live—and play a critical role in driving operational transformation at the heart of American logistics.
In this role, you will:Client Engagement & Relationship ManagementAct as the primary contact for enterprise clients, building strong relationships with executives and operations teams.
Lead discovery sessions to understand client needs and logistics workflows.
Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
Partner with clients to identify and quantify value (e.g., cost savings, efficiency gains).
Build ROI cases to secure buy-in and track KPIs to measure success.
Manage multiple implementation projects from start to finish, ensuring timely and on-budget delivery.
Create project plans, allocate resources, and resolve issues to maintain momentum.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams for smooth execution.
Translate requirements into technical specs and configure AI solutions to fit workflows.
Lead integration with client systems (ERP, WMS, TMS, etc.) and ensure seamless performance.
Conduct testing to meet quality and performance standards.
Deliver training to drive user adoption of the Boon platform.
Execute change management plans to support process transitions and maximize adoption.
Provide ongoing support and act as a logistics solutions expert.
You’ve led software implementations, process redesigns, or customer onboarding projects in logistics, SaaS, or other technology and transportation industries
You have experience managing system integrations and data pipelines—particularly via APIs
You’re comfortable working directly with dispatchers, safety managers, and operational teams to understand workflows and pain points
You thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy bringing structure to ambiguity
You’re a clear communicator who can manage timelines, surface risks, and build customer trust across multiple personas
You take ownership of outcomes and don’t wait to be told what’s broken—you find and fix it
You have experience with AI/ML solutions or SaaS platforms
You have experience working in a fast-paced startup or scale-up environment
Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
5+ years of experience in an Implementation Consultant, Solutions Consultant, Technical Project Manager, or similar customer-facing role
Proven experience working with enterprise-level companies, particularly in complex, long-cycle implementations
Demonstrable experience in building quantitative business value and ROI models for technology solutions
Strong technical project management skills, with a track record of successfully delivering complex software implementations. PMP or Agile certifications are a plus
Deep understanding of transportation and logistics operations, including areas such as fleet management, route optimization, warehouse operations, supply chain planning, and last-mile delivery

This estimate can vary based on the above mentioned factors, so the actual starting annual base salary may be above or below this range. A Boon employee may be eligible for additional forms of compensation, depending on their role, including sales incentives, discretionary bonuses, and/or equity in the company.
