Are you ready to take on a critical role in the Amex GBT Global Customer Operations organization? Our Key Client Afterhours team works in a high-touch service environment to manage travel for our top clients at Amex GBT. Working from the comfort of your own home, you’ll collaborate with your team to provide creative and timely travel solutions and an outstanding travel service experience.

What You’ll Do on a Typical Day

· Arrange and book domestic and international business travel for our global VIP clients, in a variety of complexities for air, ground, rail, and lodging accommodations

· Use various Global Distribution Systems (GDSs), including Native Sabre and Amadeus

· Communicate effectively with customers via phone and email

· Act as a trusted consultant by using your travel expertise to proactively provide, offer, and sell additional services to clients to meet their needs while adhering to their company’s travel policy

· Provide creative solutions in emergent travel situations to care for our highest priority clients

· Work individually and as a team to meet business goals, which may include customer satisfaction, call adherence, and service metrics

What We’re Looking For

· Previous experience as a Corporate Travel Counselor with an understanding of fares and ticketing rules for car, air, and hotel reservations

· Passion for excellence in corporate client service, including proactive anticipation of needs

· Native Sabre proficiency preferred but not required

· Basic computer navigation skills with an ability to multitask in multiple computer applications

· Professional communication (written and verbal)

· Attention to detail

· An ability to resolve client issues quickly and independently

· Possess an attitude of teamwork and openness to feedback

Our Key Client Afterhours Service team is a 24/7 operation. Candidates should be flexible and prepared to work any shift including Days, Nights, Weekends, and Holidays.

The US national base salary range for this position is from 

$46,200.00 - $85,800.00

The national range provided includes the base salary that GBT expects to pay for the role.  Actual base salary will be based on factors including the scope and complexity of the role and the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and work location.

In addition to base salary, the anticipated range of which is posted above, this role is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus which rewards participants based on individual and/or company performance.
