POSITION OVERVIEW

Joining a dynamic, collaborative and high‑impact team, the Analyst, Business Performance & Planning plays a critical role within the Business Performance & Planning team, supporting all client‑facing business lines under the COO.


In this role, you will work at the intersection of data, performance and business decision‑making, contributing directly to how the organization measures results, plans ahead and drives performance. The Analyst develops data‑driven insights and analyses to support performance and operational planning, with a strong focus on advanced SQL to extract, structure, validate and transform large and complex datasets.


Working hands‑on with enterprise‑level data, the Analyst supports planning cycles and executive reporting, while collaborating closely with Finance and business partners. This is an opportunity to be part of a team that turns data into actionable insights and has a tangible impact on leadership decisions and field operations.

CHALLENGES TO BE MET

  • Develop advanced analyses using SQL and Excel to support Performance analysis planning activities.

  • Translate business questions into a clear analytical approach to produce actionable insights.

  • Drive data collection, preparation and validation from internal and external sources to improve data quality, consistency and efficiency.

  • Contribute to forecasting inputs and performance narratives by identifying trends, variances and key drivers in results.

  • Contribute to performance measurement frameworks and incentive programs, ensuring alignment between field operations and corporate objectives.

  • Prepare clear syntheses, visuals and presentations to communicate findings, recommendations and business impacts through a storytelling approach

  • Support continuous improvement by proposing pragmatic enhancements to data processes, documentation and automation.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor’s degree in business intelligence, analytics, finance, economics, engineering or related quantitative field.

  • Experience in analysis, reporting, performance measurement or business planning (financial services experience considered an asset).

  • Advanced SQL skills with the ability to query, validate and structure data for analysis and reporting.

  • Strong Excel skills; ability to synthesize data into clear outputs for decision-making.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and attention-to-detail skills, with comfort working in a fast-paced environment and managing competing priorities.

  • Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate effectively with business partners and cross-functional teams.

  • Knowledge of Power BI, Python or R considered an asset.

  • Fluently bilingual in French & English.
