RESPONSIBILITIES - WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Learn about actuarial pricing and assist in pricing reviews of large accounts and programs.
- Assist in producing monthly pricing metrics, portfolio dashboards and branch P&L.
- Updated existing pricing and portfolio management tools and find ways to improve current processes.
- Assist in collecting data and producing analytics for portfolio reviews, planning and year-end reporting.
- Prepare, validate and analyze exposure, premium and claims data as basis for actuarial analyses.
- Collaborate with Underwriting, Finance, IT, Claims and Risk Control on ad-hoc projects.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Current Bachelor's degree co-op student with a history of strong academic performance.
- Proven track record in customer service with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as strong analytical, organizational and time management skills; must be detail-oriented.
- Ability to conceptualize details and develop action plans for problem solving and decision making.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment with limited supervision.
- Personal integrity, initiative and leadership qualities.
- Experience with Alteryx, SQL, VBA is considered an asset.
- Preference will be given to students who have completed 1 or more work terms.
