About the role

As an Accounting Analyst Intern at Super.com, you will work very closely with our Accounting team gaining exposure to our financial close processes, finance transformation projects, and financial statement audits. You have a passion for numbers, incredible attention to detail, and are ready to build upon your accounting fundamentals/foundation in a real-world, hands-on environment at a fast growing company.

Challenges you'll solve

  • Financial Reporting - Assist in the day-to-day accounting activities, help with financial close process, and support the annual financial statement audit
  • Accounting Processes - Documenting fundamental accounting processes
  • Financial Analysis - Assist with ad hoc projects and perform deep financial assessments to draw key insights and drive sound business decisions

About you

  • You are a post-secondary student, working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Math, or a related field with a fundamental knowledge of Accounting principles (ideally 1-2 work terms of experience)
  • You are detail-oriented with a demonstrated passion for numbers, data, spreadsheets, and accounting processes
  • You have strong work ethic with a desire to contribute in a fast-past environment
  • You have strong collaboration skills and can work effectively in a team setting
  • You are a self-motivated and open-minded individual with the ability to learn quickly
