MMA Vézina is the regional office of Marsh McLennan Agency ("MMA") in Canada and offers property and casualty insurance brokerage services as well as life insurance (group insurance and retirement). MMA is present across North America and combines personalized service model of a local consultant with the global resources of the world's leading professional services firm, Marsh McLennan ("NYSE: MMC"). Our regional office is located in Montreal on Pierre-De Coubertin Avenue, near the Olympic Stadium.

A day in the life

As an Account Representative within the Service Team, you will be responsible for ensuring quality customer service for the complete client portfolio cycle. To do this, you will participate notably in the negotiation and management of renewals as well as contract modifications. You will be responsible for going to market in collaboration with an Account Executive. You will prepare all updates to files, ensuring that each issued contract precisely corresponds to the negotiations made. Informing about market trends and opportunities will be essential to the success of your role.

Our future colleague

We would like to meet you if your professional background includes these qualifications and you have these skills:

  • Have between five and ten years of experience in commercial-line damage insurance;
  • Hold a commercial-lines damage insurance license issued by the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF);
  • Proficiency in English is required, as this position involves frequent contact with international clients and/or external partners, and being the primary contact for assigned clients and/or external partners, no other employee can communicate on their behalf;
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook.

These additional qualifications and skills are a plus, but are not mandatory to apply:

  • Having completed a DCS or AEC in insurance and financial services;
  • Proficiency with the EPIC software;
  • Holding a license in other Canadian provinces;
  • Knowledge of other Microsoft Office 365 tools.
