As Manager of International Services and Development, you’ll share your expertise regarding all things related to selling products and services abroad. More specifically, you’ll take on a business development role for Quebec-based businesses. You’ll be required to identify opportunities that may lead to client acquisition, as well as establish business relationships and negotiate agreements with potential clients. You’ll also support and collaborate with the caisse network. Lastly, you’ll represent Desjardins as part of promotional and business development activities to advertise the solutions we offer. More specifically, you will be required to:

Maintain lasting, personalized business relationships with a very large client base to promote services.

Take on an account manager role by liaising with the business and clients to ensure all products and services are current, adequate and satisfactory.

Recommend strategies and solutions to meet targets, such as sound risk management, portfolio profitability and improved business relationships.

Identify and analyze member/client needs; develop personalized solutions; prepare integrated service offers that balance member/client satisfaction, profitability and risk; and negotiate terms.

Monitor the industry for business opportunities that would add a competitive edge to existing products and services.

Play an active role in public relations activities and maintain a presence in the business community.

What you bring to the table

Bachelor's degree in a related field

A minimum of eight years of relevant experience in business development

Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered

Experience with the Business sector

Knowledge of French is required

Advanced proficiency of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients

Available for frequent travel throughout Quebec, up to 60% of the time based on the needs of members and clients
