Account Manager, Core OTA Vacation Rentals – Montreal
Travel Partnerships & Advertising helps partners — including hotels, vacation rentals, airlines, destination marketing organizations (DMOs), and more — deliver excellent traveler and B2B experiences. We drive growth for our partners and the Expedia Group marketplace through competitive supply and our leading advertising and travel media network.

As an Account Manager for Core OTA Vacation Rentals in Canada, you will help grow a portfolio of vacation rental partners on the Expedia platform by managing relationships directly and deepening strategic partnerships. This role focuses on top revenue partners in Canada, including independent multi-unit properties and Property Managers overseeing multiple listings. You will analyze business and operational performance to identify optimization opportunities, ensure high-quality service delivery, communicate technical and operational impacts, and execute account strategies that drive results across teams and regions.
Core OTA Vacation Rental sits at the heart of Expedia Group’s marketplace, connecting travelers with high-quality vacation rental supply through our flagship brands. The team partners with professional hosts and property managers to improve visibility, grow bookings, and elevate the end-to-end guest experience. By combining data-driven insights with local market expertise, the Core OTA Vacation Rental team helps partners in Canada unlock new demand, optimize performance across channels, and deliver stays that travelers love.
In this role, you will:
Build strong relationships with partner account teams, including key buyers and decision makers
Assist in creating opportunities (e.g., progress meetings, fact-finding/exploratory meetings) to grow partner accounts
Understand and clearly report partner business issues through appropriate organizational channels
Recommend products, services, and insights that meet partner needs and drive mutual growth
Acquire a solid understanding of how the department operates and fits into the larger organization
Demonstrate awareness of the policies, practices, trends, and competitive landscape that impact Expedia Group and its partners
Show good understanding of the financial impact of decisions and solutions on the organization and its partners
Document components of a business case for change at the direction of more senior colleagues as needed
Business travel within Canada required 20% of the time
Commercial & contract management
Acquire and maintain a working knowledge of financial data and Expedia Group’s standard contract terms and conditions by reviewing product literature, contracts, and learning from peers
Learn when to partner with legal resources to modify or adjust standard contract terms
Learn the contract negotiation process and how to complete contractual arrangements
Conduct straightforward cost, benefit, and risk analyses of possible solutions and the implications of not reaching agreement
Stakeholder management & communication
Exchange nuanced information to build consensus among internal and external stakeholders
Handle key objections with confidence and proactively seek support from a manager when needed
Identify and actively engage stakeholders in decision making and strategies that benefit both the account and Expedia Group
Ability or experience working in a global cross cultural environment
High agency, ability to self-direct your work
Sales, solutions & market insight
Build a working knowledge of Expedia Group products, technologies, and offerings within scope of responsibility
Develop an understanding of competitors’ standard products and services
Apply Expedia Group products, technologies, and offerings in insightful ways to address partner needs
Demonstrate the importance of maintaining ongoing business relationships with colleagues and external customers
Strategically build relationships to support total portfolio and broader organization goals
Develop understanding of customers’ industry dynamics and competitive market in Canada
Attend customer meetings to understand needs and expectations first-hand
Learn the metrics used to assess the performance of products, services, and solutions against customer needs and expectations
Develop key value proposition statements, case studies, and narratives that demonstrate the value of Expedia Group’s products, services, and solutions
Experience and qualifications:
2+ years of experience in Account Management or relevant field
Proficient in English and French
Experience in portfolio management and relationship/account management, including upselling and cross-selling
Proficient in sales techniques with a focus on consultative, value-based selling
Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences

The total cash range (inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target) for this position in Montreal is $83,000.00 to $116,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $133,000.00, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role. Incentive plan performance above target will also earn more than the incentive target compensation amount.Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
